Could be worse... I guess. Cheapish hotel within driving distance of Hamburg. Fairly clean ish. Not…read moremuch really going for it otherwise. Very drab exterior reflects the interior well. Tiny, dodgy lift up to the rooms. Cramped room. No power outlet by the bed. Only supplied with one room key which would be fine except that you need a room key for the lights etc to work so if one of us went out, the other was left in darkness. Tiny bathroom though modernly (ish) fitted. Toilet was not 100% clean... eww. Bed was terrible!!! Truly terrible. Two single beds pushed together without even a mattress topper to hold them together. We even had individual duvets. And the beds themselves were the really old fashioned spring types that are both lumpy, hard and strangely bouncy all at once. Really blimmin awful. The linens were clean though which is something. Definitely not ideal but to be fair would be tolerable for a short stay on the cheap if you had to.
