Imagine all your favorite restaurants you go to, thinking they're great, and then you go to a place where they offer to take your coat. When that happens, you should know you're going to have an exceptional experience. That's what you will be greater with here. We passed on starters because we didn't think we could hold any so we went straight for a dinner course. I ordered this braised beef in a light gravy with potatoes and root vegetables and the husband had the chicken with something he had trouble describing with something other than "it was good". Insert caveman grunt here.... For dessert, we chose a cheese plate that had the richest and most delicious cheeses I've ever had. Simply amazing! The decor is first class and we were almost shocked to see real candles burning on the tables. If there was a negative or downside to report, the only think I can say is why ask me if I have a reservation when one one table out of 30 is occupied. read more

We have stayed in this magnificent hotel before. Apart from the beautiful Schloss and the great foresty surroundings, the service is excellent friendly and personal. Yesterday, Saturday, we dined for the first time in the Blauwe Kroon restaurant. One of the three restaurants this wonderful hotel has. I just had to write a review. I don't remember ever having eaten such exquisitely delicious and beautifully decorated dishes. Extremely tasty, with surprise elements of tastes that I had never experienced before. The restaurant has a small Dutch Royal touch but feels elegantly cosy too. Combined with the extraordinairy food and perfectly matching wine (recommended by the friendly thoughtful waiter) it was the perfect Saturday night to celebrate with dear friends. read more

Ein tolles Hotel in sehr schöner Schloss-Anlage. 2010 renoviert, daher sehr gut in Schuss. Das Frühstück bietet große Auswahl und ist sehr lecker. Abends kann man direkt im Schloss (Bistro mit eher kleinerer Karte) oder in der neuen Waldresidenz (moderner, Preise gehoben) essen. Spa und ein eher kleiner Fitness Raum sind tadellos.
