When that happens, you should know you're going to have an exceptional experience. That's what you will be greater with here. We passed on starters because we didn't think we could hold any so we went straight for a dinner course. I ordered this braised beef in a light gravy with potatoes and root vegetables and the husband had the chicken with something he had trouble describing with something other than "it was good". Insert caveman grunt here.... For dessert, we chose a cheese plate that had the richest and most delicious cheeses I've ever had. Simply amazing! The decor is first class and we were almost shocked to see real candles burning on the tables. If there was a negative or downside to report, the only think I can say is why ask me if I have a reservation when one one table out of 30 is occupied.

We went for Christmas dinner today where a special menu was being served. We were greeted with a smile and received our reserved table promptly even though we were a few minutes early. The food was a mixture of new creations and classic dishes. The Fish dish was an absolute delight. The Pikeperch filet was served on creamy savory cabbage and herbed mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious. The wild game ragout braised in burgundy was served with brussel sprout puree and a nice side salad. The serving size was plentiful and the staff was very kind. Great first day of Christmas lunch :-)
