We spent five nights at the Tui Blue Falésia hotel. We arrived late night (11:30 pm). We were…read moregreeted by Bernardo. We were offered a complimentary alcohol free welcome drink, and it was refreshing and tasty. Bernardo informed us of the complimentary water bottles (2 bottles each 1.5 liters), tea bags and kettle. He then informed us of the complimentary breakfast, pools, gym, and sauna. The room and bathroom were properly cleaned. Hand soap hung on the wall (nice touch. I didn't have to use the one I brought with me). The shower had a shampoo/body wash combo. The towels hung in the shower with a ledge to place things (also liked that because I detest the towels hanging over the toilets). In case anyone is wondering, no other toiletries aside from the body wash/shampoo combo and the hand soap. The water temperature was great. The bathroom had a bidet next to the toilet. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were horrible (flat and not comfortable). They had the decorative pillows, did not use them for sleeping. The bottom of the sheet had a small black stain which could have been from ironing. During our five night stay, the bedding was not changed. The room was very spacious. The wardrobes were spacious too and had many hangers to use. Bath robes provided. There was only one USB port located by the tv (inconvenient). Adjustable lights by bedside. The desk and chair was very comfortable. The seating chairs were comfortable as well. Free safe to use (some places charges for that type of thing). Room came with a refrigerator and shelf space to store foods. All of our suitcases were stored in the wardrobes. The cons for me was the fan that ran all day (no switch to turn off.). The room was hot because the heat was running (never thought I would find heat an issue, but it was too hot). We eventually turned off the heat and left it off. I would have liked a USB port next to the bed. Would have been nice to get more water upon request. The balcony was spacious. I paid for an ocean view room, and I could see the ocean from the balcony. Wish I could see the ocean from the bed. The room door did not slam when closing (I liked that). The whole property was clean. Breakfast was really good with something for everyone. They had a small area catered to the vegans. I felt it lacked variety and could be improved. Dinner was okay. I felt dinner definitely did not cater to vegans, not enough variety. Dinner for two cost us €53.
The hotel was roughly $498 for the five nights. We did not use the sauna as I did not have my bathing suit. The hotel does have a small shop with clothes, swimwear, toiletries, and such. I didn't want to pay €36 for bathing suit (although I thought the price was justifiable, I didn't want to add on to my swimwear collection :)
The souvenir shop nearby sold bathing suits for €16 to €17. Overall, we had a great stay.
The beach is accessible through a pathway outside of the hotel with stairwells leading to the beach. There's many restaurants within walking distance. A supermarket is also within walking distance. A few small shops are also nearby to purchase water and other things.
My tips for traveling overseas. Bring cash because ATM fees are high and there's other fees. We took €200.00 out of an ATM in Sevilla for $226.75.
