An old style hotel but loved the location, in front of the famous Rhine river, close to the town's market, church et al.
Our room location was odd. We were asked to go one floor up then when reached the floor had to go down few steps on a very narrow cornered hall. We had a three beds ( triple) room. Beds were not comfortable. The room had wide window and we didn't realized was opened until later ( no wonder we were cold when we arrived). Bathroom has old amenities. Towels were short for a standard size.
The hotel has in-house restaurant and we enjoyed the entertainment provided during our dinnertime. Food ( buffet) was alright, there was nothing spectacular. The way going to their restroom location which by the way was in the lower level was long and scary.
The lobby was decorated with eye catching traditional German souvenir items. I found the reception staff unfriendly, or I maybe wrong. read more
