Why 5 stars ? for a couple of good reasons: the service, which was very professional, efficient and friendly and the fact that they gave us on a sunday a 5.00 pm checkout time. The latter allowed us to go to the nearby beautiful sandy beach of Zippendorf and shower on our return to the hotel before heading back home. My wife and I went to the beautiful town of Schwerin to watch an open air opera ( Aida) which took place in a gorgeous setting between the magnicient castle, the museum and the opera house. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel which is about 10 minutes drive to the center. The room and bathroom were very clean and functional, we were at ground floor level so we could virtually park our car just in front. The buffet breakfast was great.
