I think of Hotel Neufeld as a quintessential European hotel - as basic as can be, still comforting, old-fashioned elevator, no central air, and the tiniest bathroom in the world. I've now stayed in the Hotel Neufeld three times, and am never disappointed to be back. Thankfully I'm not paying the bill - a little pricey for such a basic hotel. Such is Switzerland...
Attached to the hotel is the restaurant Pop-Corn. Funny name for Swiss restaurant! I've only had the breakfast buffet, which comes included in each night you stay at the hotel. What a wonderful introduction to a real Swiss breakfast - multiple selections of cheeses, a slew of baked breads, jams, juices, fruit, yogurt, muesli, and cereal. It's hard not to completely overdo it on a breakfast like this.
