A perfect little mouse sized hole with missing tile

Where to start? Dirty rooms, dis-engaged staff, awful bathroom layout, or a pool out of order with no refunds or ability to cancel? We will never stay here again and instead look to options in White Plains--run, don't walk from Hotel MTK. I am typically a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, etc type guest - I don't have luxury needs or expectations, but at this price tag and their marketing, I was really disappointed -- especially as we had come from staying at a Hampton Inn on LI the night before. When we arrived it was difficult to see where to go - we thought we had entered in the back half and walked forward, before the check in staff yelled at us and then we had to explain that we were guests looking for check in. Not a great start, but it only went downward from here. The room was dirty. There was visible dust collected in the edges of the room on old carpet, light switches obviously hadn't been wiped down, missing tiles in our bathroom, spatter (blood?), no door (where one had been) on the fridge cabinet (could have used a paint job and sanding), mascara stained towels, and a smell so musky I immediately was ready to leave, but sucked it up since we had checked in and it was late. The bathroom layout was terrible. To close the door you needed to either straddle the toilet or angle your body between the toilet and sink or the toilet and tub - depending on which way you were going. This was surprisingly not the shittiest (lol) part of the stay. The cherry on top is that the pool was closed from August 6-10! I had specifically selected this property for the outdoor pool in the summer, knowing it's a great family activity, but it was not working. I was told that the manager would contact me to discuss, but it's been days and I don't expect to hear back. Some rooms include breakfast as an option - if you don't book these (more $$) room types it's $18 a person and doesn't appear to be anything more than the standard free buffet you would get at a lower budget/star Hilton property. Also, the fact that they are advertised as a Hilton property, but are independent is misleading. If you don't trust this review, take a look at the others. I had thought "these are a year old, surely they've worked out the kinks." They hadn't and, sadly, I don't think they will.

We got to experience their conference room which we thought was pretty good size for any event. Even on a rainy day people went to this location. It all depends on how the event is promoted too. We figured next time we could try and stay here if we want to come back to the same event. Parking is easy, enough for everybody. The conference room isn't far from the entrance, just pass the lobby area. It's a nice cute hotel in a nice town!

Spent 2 days here while my daughter was giving birth at a nearby hospital. I definitely would stay here again as a weekend getaway or a base to explore the area. Very close to town and highway but still quiet. Greeted warmly and efficiently at the front desk and was asked if I wanted first or second floor I like that and more hotels should offer that choice. Room had 2 double beds and was by no means could be considered large but was clean and looked to have been redone recently. Very comfortable beds and pillows that you sink right in to. Breakfast was included and you were given the choice of the entire menu including omelets served by a friendly waitress. Bar in the lobby but I didn't get a chance to have a drink. Maybe next time.

My husband & I stayed here at the Holiday Inn in Mount Kisco for the last two weeks of May of this year.

We…read morewere seated in the bar area, where you could really feel the historic, cozy charm of the inn. Reservations filled quickly, so I felt lucky to secure a 12:00 noon table for four -- my wife, mother-in-law, son, and me. The brunch featured a prix-fixe menu, and honestly, everything sounded delicious. My son and I ordered Bloody Marys, while my wife and mother-in-law chose mimosas. I was starting to feel very sophisticated at that point. The croissants with assorted spreads and jams were outstanding. I started with the oysters, which were perfectly prepared and practically melted in your mouth. My wife was initially going to order the mixed salad, but I convinced her to try the burrata and prosciutto instead -- a great decision. My son ordered the spicy yellowfin tuna pizzetta, and my mother-in-law had the cream of artichoke soup. I sampled everything except the soup; I didn't think sticking my spoon into my mother-in-law's bowl was the best idea. Everything we tasted was excellent. The entrées were equally impressive. My salmon was unbelievably fresh, my son's filet mignon was tender and flavorful, and my wife's lobster eggs Benedict was rich and delicious. My mother-in-law enjoyed the spring vegetable quiche. Up until that point, everything had gone smoothly. Then service started to slip a bit. Desserts were taking an unusually long time, and no one had come over to ask whether we wanted coffee, espresso, cappuccino, or tea. When I finally requested coffee, the waiter didn't even ask what kind we wanted. The general manager came over and apologized for the delay, but I struggled to explain that the issue wasn't just the wait -- it was the lack of attention to detail and service standards you expect at a restaurant like the Kittle House, especially at this price point. I was happy to pay for a fine dining experience; I simply expected the service to match. What really caught me off guard was when he responded by asking, "Do you work in restaurants?" I found that somewhat offensive, as if my opinion needed credentials to be valid. Ironically, I actually have 30 years of hospitality experience, including work at Forbes-rated properties. To their credit, the waiter later apologized, and they removed the coffee charge from the bill. Despite the service hiccup, I would absolutely return. It honestly seemed like they were understaffed, with too few experienced servers and too much reliance on bus staff trying to keep up with a very busy holiday crowd.

And the service was a mess. Drinks took forever to arrive. Three guests would order but only two would arrive. When the food came out, it was disjointed so half the food was 10 minutes late. I ordered the grouper and it was so dry it was almost inedible Very disappointed

The food, amazing. Dishes varied by day and meal. Everything was delicious. There was always a meat dish and fish dish available at dinner time. Breakfast and lunch were top notch. Edith Macy Center had a staff member on standby to make sure us speakers were all good to go. Their presenter set up included a small laptop at the front (provided by the center) so that you could see your presenter notes thank god lol. You had to bring your slide deck on a USB drive to upload onto their central laptop. Food was slightly better than average. I will say that dinner on the first night of the conference made both me and my friend have mild diarrhea...so maybe something wasn't cooked properly. But it was fine many bathroom trips later haha. The highlight was the party that we had on night one of the conference, the center brought out materials for making s'mores and had other late night munchies available. There were snacks available during the breaks during our conference as well. I enjoyed the fruit infused waters they had throughout the conference. The hotel rooms were pretty nice and came with a complimentary water bottle for each person. I think it was a pretty decently sized hotel room coming from Manhattan. Overall a great experience!

Spot on took us right away, and although the outcome wasn't what I wished for, I was met with clinical expertise and compassion. All of this happened to me on my very first visit. UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING…read more We scheduled a consultation for stem cell therapy for our dog. Before the appointment, I specifically called to confirm that it was a free consultation because we only wanted information about the procedure and pricing at this stage. I was clearly told it was free. When we arrived, we were placed in a small, closed, hot room and waited almost 30 minutes. Not ideal, especially with our dog. As we were leaving, we were suddenly told we owed $160. I was shocked. I explained that I had called beforehand and was told it would be a free consultation. The front desk employee responded that "there is always a charge." I asked them to listen to the recorded call because I had specifically confirmed this before coming in. She said she would "go talk to the manager," and we waited another 15 minutes. She came back and said they wouldn't charge us today -- but that we would still have an open balance on our account. That makes absolutely no sense. If it was their mistake, why would we still owe the money? I asked to speak with the manager and requested to listen to the recorded call myself. The manager came out and refused to let us hear it, repeating that we would still have an open balance. After a long, stressful conversation, she finally admitted it was a mistake made by the front desk staff -- but still insisted we owed the money. That is unacceptable. We left feeling frustrated, stressed, and completely disrespected. If a clinic makes a mistake, they should take accountability -- not push the cost onto the client. This experience showed a serious lack of professionalism and integrity. We will not be returning for stem cell therapy or any other service.
