FRAUD. NO HUMANITY.
We arrived to this hotel late, very last minute. We decided to book hotel Maximilian because the pictures we saw on Expedia were really nice. The price was very expensive for a 3 stars hotel (over 500€ ) , but according to the pictures, we decided to go there as it was one of the few hotels left available after 10 pm.
When we arrived to the reception, very exhausted after driving from Germany and some issues we had on that day, the owner received us saying that we were lucky that she was receiving us this late (11.30 pm- 12 pm), because it was a family business. (if you don't want to receive guests after 10 pm, just close the availability on the internet, as most of the hotels do, but don't use this card against us and say that you had to wait for us until we arrived: it's your business, you are supposed to do that if you want money, so If you do, don't complain!)
After she complained, she was nice and showed us some places we could visit on the next day.
When we arrived to the rooms, we couldn't believe it: they had nothing to do with the pictures we had seen on Expedia. NOTHING TO DO. They were really basic and poor for the price we were paying, and most of all, it was a fraud because they were different from the pictures we saw on the web. The furniture was old and some of them in bad conditions. There were stains on the carpet, sheets, and roof. Also the room was full of flies and insects, alive, and we also found a huge dead botlfie on the floor. (we have pictures of all of this).
We didn't sleep well and on the next morning, we went to the reception and asked for a cancelation of the second night we had booked. We said that we wanted to leave also because on the next day we had to catch a flight in the evening in Frankfurt, so as the hotel was not good and really expensive for it's poor quality and conservation of the hotel, we thought we rathered leave this area and drive to Frankfurt so we could be close to the airport on that day.
We kindly asked this, we didn't wanted to be rude and explicit about the poor quality of the rooms. But after we were nice and asked this in a good way, the owner that had received us on the previous night, got really angry and rude, and denied to cancel us the second night under no circumstances, (we told her about our need of going back to Frankfurt and she said this was our problem, not her's. Also we told her that we didn't like the rooms for the price and that they were not as we expected according to the pictures on the internet: she also said this was our problem that we had booked two nights at the hotel and we had to stay or to leave paying the rooms anyway, that she had waited for us that previous night, -maybe for 1 h maximum?- Again, if you are going to complain about this, just don't open the hotel for reservations at this time. )
After how the owner managed the situation, showing not care about our needs or opinions, just caring about receiving all the money, (she was lucky to have us there for even the first night, as we decided to go there very last minute because we were in need for a room, this wasn't planned on our trip at all. What we mean by this: 10 hours earlier to our request to canceling the room for the second night, she didn't count on the money that she was going to receive from us: almost 600€ for two night at a 3 stars hotel) .
She just cared about the money, she showed to have a really bad customer care, we believe this is important to run a business. If your customer is not happy, you cannot obligate him to stay and pay. Also after you are lying about the amenities and quality of the rooms on the internet, and charging a huge amount of money for it)
We would rate this place with a 0. It was a very sad experience and we were disappointed by seeing how people can be so materialistic and fake, she tried to be nice with us on the day we were leaving, when she knew she had been unfair and that we had to stay there only to not loosing our money and being very unsatisfied.
WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE;
because FIRST THING YOU NEED TO CARE IS ABOUT BEING NICE AND HAVING HUMANITY with clients and people in general.
By treating clients like this, eventually you will lose all respect from the clients.
We don't have anything else to say. Just a really bad experience on our trip and very poor humanity and customer care, from the owner.
We hope one day they don't care only about getting a lot of money,
but also caring about the needs and complains from their clients and that they make make sure their clients are happy with their service. read more
