Cute boutique hotel in a slightly shady part of town. However, it's still centrally located to most places (famous restaurants, tour meeting points, primary street art locations) and the staff are very friendly. Solid wifi.
Cons:
-We booked a double room and were told only single rooms were left. Uh, not cool. Our other option was to pay more than we originally booked for a triple. We didn't mind sharing a bed, but I thought it was poor customer service to rent out what they didn't have.
-No safes at the hotel. You have to leave your valuables in a signed envelope at the front desk. Um.
-Front desk staff don't speak English.
-The hotel is next to a noisy alley way which can be a minus if you are a light sleeper.
However, the breakfast here was quite satisfying (delicious cold cuts and guacamole!) and it is a good deal for the price and location. If I were looking to stay in the same price range, I would come back, though I would maybe bring my own lock. read more
