There are no shampoo or hair conditioner but no matter, the mattress is firm, sheets are crisp and the AC in every room keeps the temperature at 18 degrees centigrade with near perfect silence from anywhere! The decor in the foyer is rich and chandeliers everywhere and the toilet at the lobby was all marbled with individual stalls and flowers galore. Do try. People are so friendly here.

I travel A LOT for work (100+ nights/yr) and always stay in hotels. But the charming hospitality, modern conveniences, close proximity to town, and extreme attention to detail have made this little B&B one of my favorite stay experiences. Our room had a terrace with beautiful panoramic views of the vineyards of Barberesca and Alba. Roberto gave us a tour of the family winery followed by a tasting of the final products. We dined at a Michelin star restaurant only minutes away. Our hosts were warm and gracious. They even shipped a case of wine to our home (for a reasonable fee) and we are still enjoying Barac.

If you want the feel of what it's really like to be immersed in the traditional Italian charm and experience, this is where to stay. Clean, safe, simple but good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable, and right on the Main Street in Alba. Right across from the park where I was taken by my parents when I was a baby.
