This hotel couldn't have been in a better location. We wanted something nice, not too expensive, and super walkable. Check, check, and check. It's a 5-minute walk from Kongens Nytorv, which will allow you to get pretty much anywhere via train if you are not walking.
Despite the fact that we were here in the winter, we appreciated the A/C at night since the rest of the hotel was radiating a pretty significant amount of heat. The Hygge was definitely ever-present buuuut would have been hard to sleep in. I know, crazy Americans and their A/C.
The bed was comfortable, water pressure great, and the room had everything we needed, even though we didn't spend too much time in there outside of sleeping. The hotel had, as is always the case in Europe, a very nice (and included) breakfast with a bunch of items in the buffet, eggs to order, and as much coffee as you can handle.
There is also a bar that during the high season I'm sure is busy every night, but in December I'm not surprised it was pretty quiet in the evenings.
The only downside (with an upside) is that while there is no gym on premises, they have a partnership with a facility an 8-minute walk away with plenty of equipment, steam, sauna, pool, etc. We didn't make it there since each day was pretty filled up with exploring, but we would have if we had one extra day.
If you can get this place at a good price, I say book it. read more
