After a 100 day tour through mostly big-chain hotels like Hilton, Radisson & Co I deliberately picked this what I assumed would be a boutique hotel.
Sadly, I was "unimpressed". I am really willing to make concessions under the current Covid situation, but I booked a hotel and not a b&b. Upon arrival, the entire hotel was dark. I had to use the torch to find my way to the key and get inside the dark hotel.
The rooms do not have numbers, and I was allocated room Orange. I had no idea where to look or in which floor room orange was located at. But had to roam the then thankfully auto-lightened staircase with my heavy suitcase (after my stroke I still have to take it easy with stairs).
The room was very clean, spacious - but the decor was very yesterday.
Tried to check out at 9am - still no one there. I knew they would not offer breakfast - but the service attitude was less than acceptable. Sorry, I really wanted to love this hotel and one of the reasons I picked it was I wanted to scout if we do our princess for one day event in their hotel.
I doubt I would want to go again. I have not given two stars in a while now - and sorry, but this was less than OK. Could've been better says it all. read more
