They serve dinner around 8pm onwards so & lunch menu is from 3pm. You'll need to make reservations for dinner as it gets very busy. During lunch they have full bar available, small lunch menu and a DJ playing schlager music the entire time. Even on a Monday afternoon, the DJ was blasting those tunes loud and enthusiastically trying to get the crowd singing. Which usually occurs after afew drinks anyway. The menu is traditional Austrian, so get right into it because it is delicious and homemade style. For lunch we ordered currywurst, bbq spare ribs with garlic bread and ham crust. The dinner vibe was a little less disco Germanic music and more relaxed but buoyant and busy. I think we over ordered but ah well. We had crunchy winter salad, double boiled beef broth with fried cheese dumplings, classic bacon & onions flame tarte (ham crust), pork belly with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes and crispy skin boneless chicken leg with spinach "spätzle" and mushrooms. Honestly no bad dish, everything was top notch only problem was the food was so filling it was difficult to consume it all. Luckily we took our time and managed somewhat. The ambience of this restaurant is cool, Austrian, joyful and drinking. Definitely try some of the local Austrian beers. We enjoyed this place alot and definitely will return upon next visit. I recommend the Alpina specials- the two of us sampled both plates. But the price was a bit high- over 150CHF- for both me and my mate. The bartender served our drinks and meals- he was nice and sociable too. Come to Alpina by the banhof for a room for the night or for food!

While this place was only slightly cheaper, it turned out to be a great deal. The shuttle service stopped right in front and the ski room is in the basement, which saved a lot of trouble. The staff was very friendly and even though our room was on the street side, it was a great room. Loved the shower and the amenities. The restaurant was convenient and enjoyed the pizza here. I was surprised on the assigned tables for breakfast and the tea hour had some great food. The sauna was great and my buddy relaxed out there for a while. If you want to hang out in Ischgl, we went on the shuttle, but had to take a cab back, which was 25 Euros. Felt that was a little steep, but can't complain considering all that we got out of this place. If you like motorcycles, you'll love the displays they have throughout the hotel. Kappl ski is right next door, which we skiied the next day for a few hours. It's totally worth it. I was pleasantly surprised and felt this would be a good mountain to bring my family and beginner skiiers.

Den grau-melierten Wichtigtuer mit Weste und schwarzer Schürze, dessen Rolle es ist, Passanten, Gäste oder Interessenten der Terrasse zu verwirren und der Hotel-Pizzeria zuzuführen, muss man unbedingt ignorieren. Es kommen nämlich Sprüche wie "Gehören zusammen", "Fiume hat geschlossen" - von Lügnern bitte nicht bequatschen lassen. WICHTIG: Nur, wer durch den Eingang hinten zum Al Fiume geht, oder sich am krakelenden "kleinen Mann" vorbei ganz nach hinten zur Terrasse durchwagt, bekommt auch Al Fiume Speisen auf dem Teller serviert. Die Einheimischen wissen schon, wo sie am liebsten hingehen.

This review is actually for their other restaurant, Kirchner's Stubli, which does not have a listing, but is where you can enjoy the fondue. I was happy to learn that they (temporarily) had gluten free bread, but I guess that was only for the World Cup of cross-country skiing that was in Davos when we were. I hope they will offer it all the time to accommodate people with allergies. But even without, I found the cheese fondue with just vegetables for dipping to be fine for my gluten allergy. Thank you for some of the best and most welcoming service we received while in Davos!
