Breakfast was exactly as good as expected, the room had high ceilings and a good bed. Only inconvenient I noticed was that the bathroom was next door, but that was a minor one, as I was the only one using it. What did start to irritate me after a day was the impersonality of the interior: sitting room and living room (one large space) were painted grey, and apart from couches covered by white covers, a table and chairs, there was not a single personal touch. The same was true for the bedroom which gave a somewhat eerie feeling. Also the fact that the shower only had a button like the ones you find in public swimming pools added to this atmosphere. The building is situated on the "Ostend Ramblas", at a very close walk from the yacht-haven, the station and the shopping-centre. Both sea and beach are approximately at a 5 minutes walk from the house. In the immediate neighbourhood, there is a large, free suburban car park where free bicycles are at your disposal. In the morning, it'll be my pleasure to pamper you with a substantial breakfast containing a wide selection of daily-fresh products.

Maybe a bit too nice for a B&B: one feels somewhat in a museum where one has to be careful not to hit an old china pot by accident. Also not enough place to put clothes away if you were planning a longer stay than say - a weekend. Perfect breakfast. Not recommended if you want to go out for the night or with young children!
