Stayed here for one night whilst in Brugge. It is located over the Passage restaurant on a quieter side street near the St. Salvatore Cathedral and a few blocks down from the main square. The hotel reception is down a tiny passageway to the left of the restaurant entrance. Let the owner know when you book about what time you are arriving so he will look out for you. You ring a bell and he buzzes you in. If the restaurant is open then they can help you, however they have lunch hours, then close before reopening for dinner. You get a card with a code to unlock the outside door and your room door.
This is a hostel vs hotel. So the rooms have sinks in them but the showers and bathrooms are down the hall. We had a triple room that had a a wall full of windows including one that opened out onto a tiny balcony over the restaurant entrance. Nice view! No breakfast is included, however there is a little place one or two doors down that does small breakfasts such as bagel sandwiches, croissants, coffee, tea etc. Towels are provided along with a small tube of body wash.
All in all a good experience. I'd stay there again. read more
