This hotel was great and well priced. Our check-in was smooth and quick. Our room was large. We had a sitting room, balcony, bathroom and bedroom. It was so convenient to everything else in the city. read more

The bartender gave me the creeps as did the hotel when I arrived which caused me to Keep my guard up. The bartender started asking me personal questions while I sat at the bar and I told him I was waiting for my husband. Yikes can't a lady get a drink alone. Obviously not here, the only plus was the drinks were inexpensive but than if you didn't spend over $20 Euros than you had to pay cash. Seems like they wanted the cash. Also more of our group arrived before we left to go to dinner. They got the same run around so it wasn't limited to me the solo American in the group. Would I ever come back here not in a million years.

We simply could not use the third room - but were, of course, fully charged. That aside, everything else appeared to be a problem, too - Loading our equipment, parking, or any kind of service: my staff and our participants could not even buy a water, let alone a coffee at any time of the day. After a short introduction when we arrived, no service was available at all - and we arrived at 10am and left at 8pm :-( Just to avoid any misunderstanding: we had 50 guests - and none of them could get anything in the entire time of the event. Checking at the reception, we were asked to go and get take-away from a bakery in the area. Sorry - simply not good enough, we will never book this hotel again, let alone recommend holding any kind of event there.

Convenient location close to airport; the owner (Uwe) is extremely nice and helpful. He drove me to my meetings everyday and offered to pick me up when finished. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Benjamin made me eggs every morning and was overly accommodating if I needed anything. Uwe made recommendations at night on where to get dinner (and again, offered to drive me if needed). Mini bar is completely free and restocked everyday! My only (small) complaint is the slow speed of wifi here. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
It's very unfortunate, that this hotel turned out to be not so good. The location is awesome but…read morethe hotel is not. When we arrived the hotel was locked up and no one was around. I called the emergency number and was told to wait in the heat with our luggage, this was in the middle of the day. After a long wait, we we're finally let in. We had a room on the top floor but their elevator didn't work. We had to carry our heavy luggage up the tiny steep stairs, what joke! The room smelt old and unkept. It looked very out of date, ancient and not taken care of. The front desk people are very unkind. Next day we asked them for late check out so we could see the museum next door, the front desk person said that was fine. Surprisingly we got a call saying we were late on the checkout by the same front desk person. I'm not sure what's going on at this hotel but it's not worth the expensive rates they charge especially without a working elevator or any kindness.

The hotel reception and lobby were very nice, the room was updated, simple and sparse. The service here was rather exceptional. My admin had accidentally booked a room at the Lindner in town, so when I arrive at the airport location, there was a bit of confusion. The front desk staff worked with the other location to transfer my reservation and get me sorted for my stay. I give this hotel 4 stars because it works well as a hotel with easy access to the airport, however it does lack in other areas. Best for only an overnight stay.

We stayed in a double room with two adults and two children and it didn't feel crowded. * Rooms were very clean * Old building was very nice * Breakfast was simple and cheap. It wasn't amazing but it was enough and a good spread. * Close to train station and several nice parks in the area Downsides: * The staff is only there for part of the day so often times there is no one one sight. This is not a problem because you can reach them easily by calling reception and the call gets forwarded. * Had a problem with the internet. In our room (which was on the end) the signal dropped really badly because the router was too far away. At some points we ended up sitting outside our door to get a consistently strong signal. This was really the only bad part of our experience. Overall: I would stay there again in a heart beat.
