Fantastic hotel. Wonderful experience at all levels. I recently stayed at the Ameron Hotel for 8…read moredays during Gamescom and it was a thoroughly positive experience. Wi-Fi is great. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Boutique styled hotel. Power adapters available at the front desk. No shop in the hotel but they have drinks and snacks at the desk and offer breakfast every morning. Their breakfast selection is huge, fresh and delicious. There is a Hit Markt right up the block for all snacks and drinks. Also has an ATM in Hit Markt. Restaurant attached is also terrific. Great quality food and prices are not bad like typical hotel restaurants. Opens at 6pm. The hotel is away from the craziness near the convention center in a quiet neighborhood right by a VRS tram stop. You can get to all the action in 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at the Ameron if I return to Cologne.
