Each course is better than the next and we all felt that the arctic char was a special achievement: a large portion that still "belonged" in a fine dining lineup. Everything from the seats to the plates was commendable. Only complaint was that dinner was painfully long. Nearly 4 hours passed between walking in and walking out of the restaurant. Really had us wishing they offered 5:30 PM reservations in Europe.

What an amazing place, even though it was late in the evening they were quick to furnish us with two super clean, super neat rooms. In the morning the owners make breakfast for the guests of the hotel. And they make certain you are full. Most of the food was fresh made but ALL was delicious. As we were leaving, they actually helped us with our luggage and came out to say good bye. On the way back into Italy we wanted to see if they could accommodate us again. Even though it was late in the evening, the owners made us feel right at home and quickly made a room available. Delightful people the owners are, I met them once and felt as if they were family. We had the most amazing time here 13 years ago when our son was 2 1/2 years old. We have been…read moredying to come back here and finally made the trip back from Washington DC. My son is now 16 and we also have an 11 year old daughter. Everything was just as we remembered. Both kids have enjoyed every day of skiing. The food has been fantastic- even better than we remembered. The new Chef is amazing. Every meal has been beautiful as well as delicious. The staff is so kind and friendly. They bend over backwards to make you feel at home. My kids want this to be an annual pilgrimage for us.
