I would not really say that this is a classy hotel of some sort, in fact, the building reminds me…read moremore of a motel than a hotel. The rooms are note that modern and have no amenities at all but are quite big and can fit two people without any problem. In the main building you will find the reception and the restaurant, while in the two back buildings you will find the rooms itself. If you have a problem with stairs I would recommend you staying on the main floor, otherwise the first floor (the upper floor) is a lot better in all ways. The breakfast is wonderful for being such a small hotel in the middle of nowhere but I guess Comfort hotel has a certain standard across the world. They have everything from fresh fruit, countless fresh pieces of bread that I can't even list, fresh juice and last but not least coffee made fresh for everyone. Personally I have a sweet tooth and I love the fact that they have filled doughnuts, croissants and other sweet bread on the breakfast table too. The restaurant is okey but nothing more. The prices are a bit high for the quality, but comparing with other restaurants located close to Comfort Hotel this restaurant is prices pretty okey in comparison. So if you would like a "cheap" meal with alcohol included, I am pretty sure this is the place to go to. Although, don't expect anything fantastic. The staff is nice though and they always try to make the guests welcome and make them laugh even though the jokes are not that funny because of language barriers. Comfort Hotel Egerkingen is a good hotel for one night stay and business but not much more than that.

The pillows and the sheet had a very strong smell of smoke! My mistake was that I didn't ask for a non-smoking room but the smell was terrible. There are 2 on-site restaurants and a bar, which is open until 1am. They offer 3 types of breakfast - express, continental and buffet. The buffet breakfast is excellent.
