BUYER BEWARE. Overpriced, over promises, and under delivers…read more C2's dubious plan starts with their diagnostic tests which are actually created by c2, not the College Board or ACT. They're harder than the official tests and designed to make your child feel dumb so you panic and the Center Director can "prescribe" an exorbitant number of hours to remedy your child's perceived academic deficits. Center Director emphasizes, ad nauseam, your child MUST come in 4-6 hours per week. This way, you'll burn through your hours and she can then sell you more hours before the "special sale" ends! Expect high pressure sales, fear mongering, and even personal sob stories from her. She will try every angle to gain your trust so you'll buy more hours and extend your c2 contract-and she can meet her monthly revenue target while taking home a nice commission. Cha-Ching! This haughty and corrupt Center Director acts like she's a college admissions expert. Just ask her where SHE got HER degree. You can easily find her on LinkedIn to verify (unless she edits it after seeing this). Let's just say, her international alma mater is nothing to brag about. She's a cunning saleslady. She makes a used car salesman look like an amateur so do your research BEFORE you get duped into signing a contract with her. Read the recent reviews on Trustpilot (Score: Poor) and the BBB (Grade: F, Unaccredited). My children say she is creepy, awkward, and disingenuous whenever she emerges from her office. Please, lady, crawl back into your lair! c2 changed their policy and NOW your hours suddenly expire. The Center Director lacks integrity and transparency. She won't honor the verbal promise she she made when we signed our original contract for NON-EXPIRING hours. Reneging on a promise is tantamount to being dishonest and untrustworthy. c2 will screw c2 families. Be very wary of Center Director's phone calls and her use of DocuSign. Be very wary. There are better, much more affordable tutoring centers out there where your kids will be happier and achieve results. Elite Prep Plano and Elite Prep Southlake have CLASSES so students get to learn with peers and commiserate WHEREAS c2's tutoring environment is isolating and depressing. Your child will dread going to c2 so plan to expend a lot of your own energy nagging them. Mathnasium is another, much better option for elementary, middle school, and high school aged kids. Mathnasium even has an online, virtual option called Mathnasium At Home if you don't want to wait for them in the parking lot. Also look into live virtual options like SuperTutor and J&J Test Prep. Jackie from J&J is fantastic especially for the Reading/English section. Find them on Fb or IG. Protect your child and your family's money. DON'T do business with Unscrupulous c2. c2 cares much more about taking your money than actually helping your child. And if you happen to have a child who naturally excels, they'll exploit him/her as propaganda and take credit for your child's success. It's comical to see the names they frame on their lobby walls while knowing full well how very little they actually did for our children. Don't believe the hype, folks. When Coppell's c2 center shuts down, don't expect a refund--not even a partial refund. Once you pay in full, before service is even rendered, your money is theirs and they intend to keep it. All of it. Read the unbiased reviews and horror stories out there. You've been warned. Please protect and warn your family and friends too.

These people are trapping parents and kids for money. Beware of this education center who charges almost 75$ per hour. There are so many private teachers who teaches very well. Jiyoung…read moreJohnston will charge for a recital that does not have the equipment/instruments your child requires for their performance, making an extremely embarrassing and awkward situation for young performers, then she will attempt to bribe and intimidate your child. My 9 year old daughter has been studying electric guitar at Lone Star Music Academy since August. This has consisted of weekly in person sessions at the North Dallas location. On 11/2 she had her very first recital and was extremely nervous and excited, both sets of grandparents and aunts/uncles were in attendance. Upon arriving I checked in with Wendy who is the director of the Flower Mound location, I asked her if everything was set up for my daughter and Wendy assured me that a guitar and amp was in the next room and would be used. Once my daughter was called to the stage there was no guitar, there was no amp. After grabbing our guitar that we happened to have in the car and setting her up we were told there was no amp. Wendy made no move to assist, her helper attempted to move a microphone close to my daughter's electric guitar so the audience could hear her. I ended up having to hold the microphone close while my daughter played. No one could hear her ELECTRIC GUITAR and it was extremely awkward, my daughter was extremely embarrassed, the setup was horrible, and her instructor was not present (all other instructors were there with their students). Afterwards Wendy avoided me as I requested to speak with the owner Jiyoung Johnston. Jiyoung Johnston stated she was unaware of what instruments the students played and had assumed my daughter was playing piano. She became aggressive saying we should wait along with our entire family and have my daughter perform at the next recital scheduled for one hour later. This was a worthless suggestion because there was NO AMP at the MUSIC ACADEMY that my daughter could use. Jiyoung Johnston then asked to speak with my daughter and walked her down the hall to be out of earshot. I then saw Jiyoung Johnston pull my daughter into a room and stand with her back to the door blocking my daughter from walking out. before my wife made it to the room to get our daughter Jiyoung Johnston told my daughter "Your father is upset, perform again so he won't be mad" then made promises of "feeding her" which is disturbing in itself. Jiyoung Johnston only made excuses and has not apologized or reached out. I was charged $25.00 for a recital fee and have demanded to be reimbursed but have received no correspondence. My daughter is nine years old, this was her first public performance and it went so badly due to no fault of her own, she practiced every day for months and she was failed completely by Lone Star Academy. Right now my daughter has no desire to perform again, I am sure that will change in the future, and it is fine if it does not but the fact that she was excited and was let down so badly by the adults who were in charge of making sure the recital went well is unbelievable and disgusting. Kids remember and traumatic events can really stay with them for the rest of their lives.

My daughters' teachers know what they are doing and are excellent musicians! They actually go through music theory books and are learning so much. The owners and staff are really nice as well.
