This time I struck out and didn't find any deals I couldn't live without, but usually, I walk out with something that I end up loving! Some of my better finds here include a merino wool dress that is one of my go-to pieces in the winter as well as merino wool cardies in black (of course) and turquoise which stay with me at all times since I don't think I'm truly warm until it reaches 80 degrees. I've also found some pretty good non-clothing items here too. My passport was starting to look like it had been dragged through the mud when voila! There at the Banana Republic outlet there were leather passport covers for $15. A lot better than the $100 I had been seeing at some stores. I picked up one in brown with green trim for a present and a maroon and black one for me. I also got my business card case here. Its this really cool contraption with elastic straps instead of pockets that I have received more compliments on than I can count!

This led me to attempting to get a hold of the district manager Assuming this surly would fix the problem but ummm no ... After numerous attempts of trying to contact the district manager and getting no where , nothing, no return call or email And after calling everybody who I'm assuming could help with this issue I GOT NO WHERE I paid full price and not getting the discount that I was supposed to Is shitty and I'm pretty pissed off about it they don't give a shit & I'm really disappointed in upper management especially for not even returning a Single phone call I mean I've been trying to contact them for a month and a half !!! Staff is very friendly, courteous and always willing to help you out in any way they can. Since this is an outlet store, it may not have some current items you see online or at regular retail stores. If you can find what you like at the clearance racks, you are in for a treat since you can receive additional 50-75% discount from already reduced price (at least 30% off retail price). I have received some really good deals like $5 for t-shirts, $12 for dress shirts even $20 for a pair of casual pants. If you are service member of active duty military, you'll receive additional 15% off from already discounted price, so that's a really good deal. Happy hunting!

Found the petite section, then found some XXSP inventory. Super tiny section (pun not intended haha), but it exists. There are some pieces that still don't fit right or look weird, but the two pieces left? Dibs. This might be my new favorite place. I take a look at their selection first before hitting up other stores now. It's hard enough to find XXSP clothes online and even harder to find in store. But if I get lucky, they'll have a few clutch pieces in stock.

The selection was great, but the customer service was what really stood out during my visit today. Outlets aren't well known for attentive associates, but the two women working today were lovely. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and told about the deals they had going on. They also checked on me while in the fitting room and offered to get additional sizes. The store was well organized and the dressing rooms were clean. Everything had additional discounts, too, which makes you feel less guilty for buying more :) At checkout the one lady was great at carrying on conversation without letting it slow down the process. It's amazing how great, friendly service can really leave an impression. I hope one of both are working again next time I shop here!

The prices here are pretty much at the mark at which I would pay for Gap prices when items are on sale at the regular store. Stopped into the Jeffersonville outlet specifically to go to Nike and decided to do a quick walk through at Gap as well. Went in looking for a new pullover hoodie and found and entire wall/display of sweaters on-sale for $19.99. Tried on a couple styles/color and make a purchase. During this visit I noticed how well organized and stocked this store was, and it was about 6pm in the last Saturday before Christmas. I will stop in again as this store has it right! Oh, and check your receipt for an invitation to take an online survey and take 15% a future purchase.

This time it was a pitstop on the way back from Ren Fest. A place to eat and get off the road. And for Kid K to shop. I told her it would probably be busy since it was an outlet mall on a Saturday. It was not. Hardly anyone there. Half the stores were gone, empty, and a fair number of those still there were not open. We went to Carter's, TJ Maxx, BBW, and Pottery Barn. All huge, all with lots of interesting items. Most not at great prices, but a few real deals. Service at each was friendly. Not super easy to find each store, though there are signs at the end of each row. Easiest way to get around was to look at Yelp and see where each store was. No food to speak of in the mall. Fast food and a few other places out at the road. Restrooms were clean. And amusing (see pic.) The outlet down 71 slowly withered and died. This doesn't look that bad. Yet. It'll probably be years before I'm back, and I am not betting on it being open then...
