My experience could not have gone any better! We got our older car's windows re-tinted and Danny was honest with me that the the rear view window tinting was so old and adhered to the defrost and antenna wiring that it may damage it if he attempted to remove. We opted to not remove that tinting which actually lowered the price. Appreciate the honesty so much! Very professional and friendly. We didn't try to call, we just walked in one day, he was booked pretty far out, so we set an appt for a week and a half later. It was worth the wait. He asks you what look you're going for and he gives you suggestions depending on the color of your car and the interior... I didn't even know that made a difference, but it sure does! This is the place to go to get your windows tinted. Not only it's cheap, the work Danny those is amazing. Things you gotta know. Its street parking and you could miss the shop. I went to the shop to set a appointment and it took a couple of days to book,his a one man team so idk if he answers calls while working. His sets reminders so you dont forget your appointment. There's couches there if you wanna chill and relax. The work will done approximately 2hrs and a half. He will send you text 20 minutes before your vehicle is done. Good tint job for a bargain rate. Just bought a brand new GTI. After talking with family, I decided to tint the windows in order to protect the interior from sun damage. I called the dealership and immediately the service tech told me to call Danny at the hot spot. He said that he wouldn't trust anyone else to tint his windows. I called Danny and he got me in on a Friday that I was off from work. DANNY WAS AWESOME! When I arrived, Danny walked around my vehicle and discussed the different levels of tint and explained what it would make my car look like and how it would affect my car legally. Also, we walked outside and he showed me real world examples of how my tint would look as other cars drove by. It was also very clear that he had worked on GTI's before. He said it would take about 2.5 hours. He was done on time if not early. When I was leaving, he gave me the details on my lifetime warranty and how to take care of the windows over the life and the following 24 hours to make sure it cured correctly. While you wait, walk to mall just up the street. It took about 15 mins to get there. I got text from the shop telling me to start heading back as he was almost done. When I arrived he was done. If I intended to stay in San Diego, I would get every vehicle I owned tinted windows from Danny. I will be taking my wife's Jetta there as soon as I can get it scheduled. I haven't been to any other places in San Diego but thanks to Danny, I won't be going anywhere else. Also, you can't beat the price! read more
