I have been a member of BYT for just under a year. The experience here has been nothing less than memorable. You get a wonderful work out, meet other people with similar mentalities and goals, and you NEVER feel like you don't belong. The teachers remember the clients well, in name and in practice. They will take note if they see you improving or having difficulty in any posture. The lobby, locker rooms, and practice room are always very well kept. Clean and sanitary. Bikram Yoga, as a whole, brings a lot of amazing benefits to the health of one practicing it, emotionally, mentally, physically and chemically. It is so great to see such a wonderful practice being held in Toledo. We needed something like this. Since Bikram Yoga is a universal sport, the things I have practiced here traveled with me to California. The same Bikram Yoga Studio in Marina Del Rey is SO similar to the Bikram Yoga in Toledo. Even across the country, what we practice can be done anywhere. Just being a beginner, and actually NEVER attended an actual yoga class when I started, I learned so much about myself and the human body as a whole. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. Don't let the "hot" part scare you away. The moist heat just helps to relax your muscles so you can safely stretch them. Yes, it's a work out like no other. You will grow with your practice. It's awesome! When you practice Bikram Yoga on a regular basis, one day it will click ...and you will realize that it is about, way more than the 26 postures. You will realize how good you feel until it's time for your next class. I came to Bikram Yoga Toledo, as a new student, injured, 1 year ago with 3 cervical disk herniations, spine, and shoulder injuries, a broken spirt, & lots of stress all stemming pain. When others say: I can't do "hot yoga "I have; bad knees bad ankle, I couldn't deal with the heat, ect, I tell them if they have the determination to come into the class everyday and give it their all, they WILL get strong & regain inner peace and learn some truths about themselves and oh yea...work out with the people who make the world a better place outside the yoga room! I've been going to the hot room for over 3 years now. My first hot yoga class I got up and walked out of the room and swore I'd never do it again. 3 years later and I go to the hot room almost everyday. My practice with hot yoga has become so strong!!! The pilates class is amazing! I've lost so much weight and I'm the most fit I've ever been in my life. The Yin yoga is the most meditative and relaxing yoga you can do. And Fransecas fusion class combines everything in one! Over the past few years I really struggled with depression and my self-image. Because of the hot room, I fell in love with myself again. It has given me the confidence and the courage to push myself to limits I never thought I could reach. The people are amazing, it's legit a family at the hot room and I highly suggest that anyone and everyone try it out. I absolutely LOVE the Hot Room Toledo! I have been going to classes now for over the last three months - FAITHFULLY. I have severe fibromyalgia and auto immune issues and the heat and humidity are the best things in the world for my pain! Relaxes the muscles for sure. In the last two years I've lose 110 lbs, and I'm so happy to have found an exercise I love that isn't painful. The muscle tone and body changes I'm seeing are incredible! The Hot 60 yoga, inferno Pilates, fusion yoga and YIN yoga are all my favorites! And I would recommend the hot room to any and everybody. The instructors are amazing, and between the instructors, the owner Tim, and my fellow hot room goers - it truly feels like family/a second home!! read more

Clean Clean!!! The studio is large and the teachers and staff are pleasant. I found the studio easily on the internet. After talking with the owner, I found her to be helpful in guiding me through the 90 minute hot class!!! The class was tough, but I totally felt good afterwards. I was looking for a good place in Toledo to practice yoga and I finally found it. The place looks new inside and the changing rooms had lockers too! I found the carpet inside the yoga room to be really soft on my feet. The teacher said I could even get a discount on packages with my student ID so that was cool. I can't say enough positive things about BYT!!! Very beneficial for your whole body health! I have been visiting the Bikram Yoga Toledo studio since November of 2012. I started with a 30 day challenge (doing 90 mins of yoga/day) to get in shape for my wedding--I hear that I was glowing on the special day, which was a result I wasn't expecting. In addition, going to BYT helps balance an auto immune disorder for me, and calm anxiety/relieve the effects of stress. The staff truly cares about the members, takes time to answer your questions. I'm new to yoga and bikram yoga is like another level because of the heat. I learned a lot about myself on the physical level, emotional level and mentally. Being a determined novice I was glad the teachers took the time to make sure I did things right and that I knew it was ok to sit, rest and recover. Great studio - clean, fresh, no smell. I've been to more than a few Bikram studios and they all seem to have that locker room smell but not Bikram Yoga Toledo! Great instructors, great heat, great workout! They even carry kombucha and coconut water! Also great prices on classes! read more
