Meat is top quality -- not too dry, not too fatty. I'm also pretty much a purist. I want to taste the meat so I keep my burger simple -- cheese and caramelized onions are all I require. They also make a pretty decent black bean burger for all you vegetarians. The only place they fall short is the french fries. We've been trying to get them to cook the fries just a little bit longer so they would be a little bit crispier. But we don't go there for the fries. It's the burger that stands out. Oh yes, how can I forget a perfect glass of sangria. They also do it right. Service has always been good, but we also choose to tip accordingly. Like a lot of food in Portugal it's a bit low on flavor (to think all those Portuguese sailors traveled the world looking for spices...). The record store is pretty small and the restaurant is a pretty large part of the space -- though they do seem serious about the vinyl. To eat here you'll have to be okay with persistent punk/rock, though it's not loud (either that, or I'm deafer than I thought).
