Tasty traditional Czech food and good prices. The front room has a huge tv great for watching any sports that are on, and there is a larger back room and sizeable outdoor side patio as well. Be sure to check the chalkboard for daily specials. No English menu I could find, but easy formatting for Google Translate to get the job done.

The advertised the world hockey championship but there was not game on so I lucked out. Got a table right away and an excellent cold beer. Point to note, they do not have menus in English and the staff is not very fluent( local pub for locals!). However we had great fun trying to figure out what I wanted and it all worked out. If you have a menu master/translator be patient as many of the terms I believe are based on a local dialect; however the key words for chicken and pork are loud and clear. I had the pork steak with a 'bacon jacket', fried onion blume and diced potatoes. In short, outstanding. Exploding with deep flavours especially the onion. Still am tasting it hours later. Mmmmm The pork melted on my first few cuts; however it continued to cook so it was a little tough by the end. Either way tons of flavour. I will definitely go back and maybe try their ribs. If they are anything like the pork steak for flavour they'll be a hit! And if you eat too much and it's early in the day, cross the road and go for a hike in the fabulous park.
