Way too expensive. I can pay the same prices at TJ Maxx. They have a decent selection if you don't mind paying top dollar

We came across this shop while in the area to visit Palm Beach Vintage and decided to stop in here…read morefirst. This is a donation-based store where the sales of items help those in need. Staff were friendly and greeted us when we came in. For the most part, they let you shop without assistance, unless you ask someone for help. The store carries everything from home decor, furniture, clothing, accessories, shoes, books, entertainment, and kitchenware items. All of the areas were clearly labeled and marked, which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Personally I didn't buy anything there, but what I did see seemed to be priced very fairly and reasonably. Good option for those on a budget or those looking for items without paying retail pricing. There are multiple designated spots in the plaza labeled for the shop. If you are shopping at other businesses in the area, please be mindful as the signs for Nearly New warn that they will tow people who are not shopping in their store for parking for other businesses.

I think it speaks volumes when a place of business, let alone a small local business, does not bother to greet or acknowledge their clientele upon entrance or during any portion of their visit. The woman working looked directly at me shortly after entering and did not even muster a hello. After perusing throughout their store, I realised my presence would not be noted, was not welcomed and felt would rather take my business elsewhere. Customer service and common courtesy still goes a long way - I will not be returning.

Rejecting the traditional church pulpit, they preached to those most in need, including the poor, homeless, hungry, and destitute. Despite disapproval from the established church, they trained evangelists across England and, in 1875, returned to London's West End to form the Christian Mission. In 1878, while reading the mission's annual report, William Booth noticed the phrase "The Christian Mission is a volunteer army." He famously crossed out volunteer army and replaced it with Salvation Army. From that point on, converts became "soldiers of Christ" or Salvationists. Their message spread quickly, and today the Salvation Army serves in over 100 countries. The Salvation Army operates churches worldwide, known as Salvation Army Corps, but they are probably best known for their thrift stores. Purchases at these stores fund local emergency relief efforts and programs, including services in Palm Beach County. Many locations also support Adult Rehabilitation Centers, helping individuals combat addiction, and the organization is known for hiring ex-felons. Every donation or purchase directly contributes to meaningful community programs. I discovered this Salvation Army store while driving through Lake Worth. Although the exterior was a bit cluttered with plastic tubs and bikes, the inside was clean, organized, and inviting. Inventory included like-new home goods, small appliances, art, furniture, linens, books, toys, and a large selection of clothing and accessories. Notably, there was beautiful furniture--a wood bed and an intricate wooden buffet table--and even a wedding dress. Thrifting not only helps people save money but also keeps items out of landfills. The Salvation Army welcomes donations of gently used clothing, furniture, household goods, appliances, and even vehicles. Whether you're hunting for vintage treasures, everyday essentials, or just browsing for a good deal, this store deserves a spot on your Palm Beach County thrift list.

I'd been meaning to come here for a while after reading a review in a local paper a while back. I'm…read moreso glad we finally made it here as we were in the neighborhood. The shop sits on the west side of Federal Highway. Parking is a bit of a challenge especially when any nearby lots are full. We drove around the block and found a makeshift spot along a side street and walked over. You have to ring the bell to be buzzed inside. And once inside, there's so much stuff that even a few folks will make the place seem crowded. But everything displayed is so unique and interesting and eye catching that you'll hardly know where to look first. If you're of a certain age, the "vintage" clothing will look a bit familiar like things you used to actually wear years ago. But most things have a little something extra, too. Some clothing has stenciled skulls; or extra embellishments; or lace, or fringe, etc. All sorts of clothing. Accessories and purses are different -- like the one that was hamburger shaped. There are a number of "cool" tee-shirts. And strange things from a bucket of dolls heads to candles and voodoo items. The jewelry alone will keep you busy looking at all the appealing choices. There are lots of things here that would make a good gift for someone who's a bit original and off beat. Or a good gift to treat yourself. I'm sure we will return when nearby.
