This practice is extremely poorly run, and it starts from the top with Drs. McHugh and Lo. Their…read morelackadaisical approach to care and poor communication was an incredible stressor on my wife both during and after her pregnancy to the point that she is traumatized and we are leaving their practice. Below are examples of the practice's negligence and how they prioritize profits over patient care. 1) At 28 weeks of pregnancy, Dr. McHugh forgot to have a rhogam shot done; my wife had to remind her as she walked out of the exam room. 2) My wife experienced severe shortness of breath and other unusual physical issues, like ear numbness, that she was told by Dr. McHugh were "normal" and not to worry about them. Not addressing these issues led to complications during and post-birth. 3) At one point, the practice expressed concern for a possible yeast infection that might need immediate treatment. The urine sample was somehow lost, and the only reason we learned this is because my wife called them 3 days after submitting the sample to ask about the result. This practice never followed up on what happened to the sample or asked for results from the lab company. Thankfully, there was no infection, but if she had one, those 3 days would have been critical. 4) Despite my wife communicating her phobia of C-section and desire to discuss proactive ways to avoid the procedure, Dr. Lo continuously pushed the possibility of C-section starting in Week 38, going so far as to say my wife was "not a vaginal candidate." She was pushing for this procedure hard, and I believe there was a profit motive behind it, because it turns out my wife actually WAS a vaginal candidate: she gave birth vaginally. 5) Related to the post-birth complication I mentioned, Dr. Lo repeatedly tried to tell my wife that she had cardio-myopathy when the written report from the cardiologist clearly states that she did not, bringing past fears and trauma back to the surface. 6) Dr. Lo used the false cardio-myopathy angle to push an IUD procedure that my wife expressed no interest in - again, consistent with a profit motive. There were many other examples of negligent care where the staff at this practice didn't know what was going on or conflicted with one another - this review is only highlighting the more serious, traumatic, and unethical occurrences. We regret ever signing up at this practice.

Gifts from God is one way to explain who these doctors, nurses and office staff are! I truly look forward to my prenatal appointments here because I always feel so celebrated and believed in when I go here. The staff are so friendly and personal while upholding high medical standards and making sure I receive the very best care. I believe in this group of people and the difference they are making in the lives of those who are lucky enough to receive health care from them.

I am halfway through my second pregnancy right now, and have been using WomanHealth since August. I…read moredid not use them my first pregnancy, and was really dissatisfied with the small practice that I used previously. However, WomanHealth is great. Every single person that I've encountered (my pregnancy requires weekly visits, so the number is high), has been super friendly and amazing. I had a scare at 7 weeks pregnant, and asked them if they could fit me in for a quick ultrasound (I had one scheduled a few days later anyway). They were very accommodating and had me in the office 45 minutes later. It's true that you are not assigned to one doctor - you meet each doctor and NP in the practice, throughout your pregnancy - however, this is not something that bothers me... especially since they've all been equally friendly and helpful. I love that I can login to an online patient portal to view my appointments and request changes. And, I love that they offer ultrasounds on-site, and the blood lab is just 2 buildings down from them - all on one campus. With a fulltime job and a 4-year-old at home, convenience is key for me. EDIT: I wrote my initial review halfway through my pregnancy, and want to add that the patient portal stopped working shortly thereafter, so I couldn't view my appointments or anything else. I would also agree with another reviewer that it was annoying that the practice would not provide a prescription for a breast pump prior to delivery. For that reason, I was stuck with a hospital-provided Medela PIS, when I would've preferred a Spectra (and would've been happy to pay the difference).

Circle Health wants as many patients as possible and prioritizes money over patient care…read more I gave this place the benefit of the doubt despite all the bad reviews because I'm in the military and my options are limited on Tricare. Every time I visited, I felt like I was rushed in and out. I never had an open forum to ask questions, and every nurse I met made me feel categorized as young and naive.. I'm a 28 y/o first time mom and I felt like I deserved more empathy than to have my concerns written off. The few times I did actually bring up concerns, I was made to feel like they were dumb. I was experiencing extreme crashes in energy during the day, and I commute one hour to and from work. I told the nurse about these energy crashes at my appt. She told me to take a nap in my car before leaving my office. Basically her advice was to prolong my already 10-hour day... At my next visit, I failed my glucose test and the same nurse told me that my energy crashes aren't related to my new diagnosis. She also never annotated my energy concerns in my chart, nowhere, not once. I left the Circle Health practice at 29 weeks pregnant and have since received phenomenal care at my new office.
