I paid a deposit for a jack russell puppy. They had 2 litters coming up that I would have 1st choice .... I specified I wanted a female broken coat. I would not be showing her. Pups weren't born yet so I waited 3 months to pick up my pup. Once these people got my deposit they NEVER returned my calls. No updates on litters when born? When pups were ready they informed me that this pup was. Show quality and only female. So I owed more money for pup. WTF ?? They Postponed her pick up date due to weather. When I picked up my terrier they just recently removed her dew claws. Stitches still in large scarrring. They lied... I learned there was a another female rough coat in litter that was sold and gone. I took my smoothcoated show quality pup home. 1st I learned she was deaf in one ear. I felt they should at least refund me the extra money they charged for A dog I cannot show or breed. They wouldn't do that. Then later I went through the horrible and heart breaking expience of PLL. The lense on eye become disloged. Painful ...expensive surgery is not always successful. This is a hereditary condition. I had to have the eye removed knowing that the other eye may be affected later. Annie is my only pet and my constant companion. Horrible experience. This place is a puppy mill. Lots of dogs penned up in small kennels inside a building. read more

I have had 2 Jack Russell Terriers that were sired by a Horsemaster's Farm dog. BOTH dogs had Addison's disease, which means there has to be a male carrier of the disease in his blood lines. Tish C. was trying to scam my parents out of a new dog and money. We never saw any evidence of her case and she has been trying to cause problems for our kennel. All we asked for was actual vet documentation and she failed to do so. All our Jack Russells are fully guaranteed and she is well aware of that. Indeed wtf Tish. We have had 2 litters in the last 3 years with our Jack Russels. Far from a puppy mill and we take excellent care of our dogs and have a kennel currently of 8 Jack Russell's. We have yearly check ups and fees with Clackamas Community Dog Control and the State of Oregon. Our kennel has always passed with flying colors. In all of our years of business we have never had one infraction or problem with the care of our dogs. Thanks for trying to defame our name and be another problem on the internet. We also take excellent care of our Horses and have had a excellent program for over 40 years. People get mad when we have to kick them off the property like Kat B. She just let herself onto our property which is trespassing. Told to leave 2 different times. I'm glad i found these messages. ZERO STARS!!!!!!! I also got a JRT here who suffered from addison's disease his whole life. We were puzzled by the symptoms for years, getting little help from our neighborhood vet. I was well aware of the difficulties of owning a terrier going into this and after trying all my proven training methods then turning to professional trainers and classes eventually had to accept that this dog that my family loved would never be house broken or capable of normal (even for a notoriously rambunctious breed) social behaviour. This breeder offered no help in the many times we reached out to them for advice or support. Our beloved family member (faults and all) died of heart failure much younger than the expected life span for his breed. The dogs here are generally very beautiful (our longest running joke was that our guy was a dog model and that explained his diva qualities) but they need to be more honest and helpful concerning the long term health of their dogs. read more

We adopted our Russell eleven years ago from Horsemasters Farm. Max was our dear companion until his death this past summer. He was a healthy dog who was actually the last pick of the litter. Too bad for everyone who passed up our little pal who turned out to be very sweet and awesome with children. We have sent many people to their farm (yes, this is more of a farm atmosphere than a state of the art building facility) and they too have been very happy with their dogs. Soooo, make your own decision instead of listening to such harsh reviews. By the way-I do not know the owners personally other than to purchase our pup from them. What a horror show! The barn has holes in the walls, stalls got cleaned about once a week, broken down stalls are full of trash and ancient feces, and I only saw 2 horses put out once or twice over the course of a month. The owners charge top dollar for boarding and provide the bare minimum in care. I wanted to connect with an owner to make a purchase offer, but they strung us along for a month. They were concerned that they might lose one of their few remaining boarders (and every time I tried to contact them for an update on the status of our offer, they asked me if I was still planning to board him there), and finally told me the owners were going in a different direction (after telling us over and over again that the owners had been thinking about putting him down because they didn't want him and didn't know what to do with him). My kids had fallen in love with the horse and were heartbroken. Owners proved to be greedy and unhelpful. RUN! read more
