A great area to take a walk, check out some of Uconn farm animals (you can oftentimes find cows, sheep, and horses out in their pastures), and enjoy nature. The hill itself has great views - I once saw a performance art event here and it was stunning - and makes for great photo ops. The walking loop has some nice flat parts if you or your furry friend have any mobility issues. This would make a great budget friendly and laid back farm visit experience to take kids. It's great for taking dogs for a walk - there are some trails that branch off, and my dog goes crazy smelling the new smells of all the large animals. Plenty of places to park, although one lot in particular has some pretty gnarly potholes, so low clearance cars beware. read more
