Saara was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun with her and hopefully we can return soon! She was great at guiding us around the trail, taking lots of amazing photos and was all around great company! We rode Easy and Thumper, who were both sweet and very well behaved. Ruby joined us too and we enjoyed watching her daringly run between the horses legs.

Words can not even begin to describe our 2 hour trail ride with Saara! Saara is amazing, the trails and views were spectacular, thumper and Easy were the friendliest, most genuine fun loving horses we have ever been around. (We might have cried when we had to leave them...). My 15 year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed every second, and carried the zen/healing feeling we experienced for the rest of the day! I don't think we will ever experience anything like this ever again, so we will have to return!!!! Don't forget red apples! :)

We couldn't recommend Saara more! We just spent New Years 2018-19 in Sedona and having previously ridden with M Diamond Ranch (also a good experience, but very different from Saara's rides), we wanted to try something new. We met Saara at the trailhead about 20 minutes west of downtown Sedona. Right off the bat, she was an absolute pleasure to chat with. Our horses were Doodle Bug and Easy. What's so great about Saara's rides is that she does this only once or twice a week and each time with different horses, so the horses don't get sick of walking the same old trail over and over like other horseback riding places. Furthermore, the trail was gorgeous. It's a little outside of Sedona, but it's still in the red rocks with great views looking out over Sedona. The trail is also not boring. I was surprised by how steep and rocky it was in places (I mean this in a good way -- I felt safe the whole time)...I would have hiked this trail! We rode for about 1.5-2 hours and enjoyed conversing with Saara the whole time, who often stopped to take great pictures of us with Sedona in the background. Overall, this was an excellent experience and worth the extra money you might spend -- especially because it's just you and Saara! We also got to canter at the end. A person trail ride of the highest order!

Horseback riding tour in Sedona was absolutely incredible. Saraa took my boyfriend and I on a tour around and over the mountains. We saw some of the most beautiful views of the famous Red Rock Mountains. She was taking pictures of us the whole and would have us stop with the horses in front of the best views to take pictures. The horses were so friendly and had a ton of personality! I would absolutely recommend going on a horseback tour with Horse Affinity.

Saara and her horses Thumper, Easy and Huckleberry were all fantastic! It was a great guided tour, with plenty of lively conversation, spectacular views and riding well beyond the realm of simply nose-to-tail, as in most trail rides. We wholeheartedly give her five stars and look forward to returning to Sedona to ride with her again. It was absolutely a highlight of our vacation!

I just went out on a ride this morning on "Thumper". He is personally owned by Saara. She owns all 8 horses so they are very well mannered and good on trails. Saara will meet you where YOU want to ride, this is not your regular old boring trail ride. I chose to ride on my own down the Long Canyon Trail and was able to go at my own pace, enjoying the scenery, snapping pics, and having a good time with Thumper. If you ride regularly or want a personal private ride, this is the way to go!

Wow! We had a great time on the trail with Saara in Sedona. My first criteria for picking a trail ride was that the horses were well taken care of. It is clear that she has such a love and passion for all of her "children" and that they are in excellent care with her. She was a fantastic guide and gave us a great tour around the beautiful wilderness of Sedona. We both liked the intimacy of the tour and that she catered it to our own needs and abilities. Thanks for everything Saara!

Saara was so easy to talk to, and it felt like riding with a old friend even though we had only just met.

I think we were a mixed group of about 18 guests. All of our tour guides were professional, knowledgeable, fun, and lighthearted people. They made absolutely sure we were all safe and having a great time. If you don't want to wait on other people and prefer a smaller group, get the private tour. There wasn't much shade but we were dressed for the heat and had plenty of water and our guides made sure we stayed hydrated. Each horse has a saddle bag for water and small personal items. Jalynn (I think that was her name) did an excellent job rounding up the group and taking charge. She knew what she was doing and how to handle her horse. Chaz and Marina were also our guides and they did a great job of us staying in line. Friendly and personable. I rode Cody and my husband rode Blue. They provided water and Gatorade. There is only one outhouse. They have Clorox wipes, toilet paper and a hand washing station with soap. (And paper towels. ) The lady at our bed and breakfast recommended this place. I hadn't seen it online and they had same day availability. We were on the 2pm tour so if you don't want to be so hot, go in the morning. Lots of dust so be prepared.

This trail is short and sweet, I believe it's less than a mile from beginning to the end and then of course you have to hike back to your car. At the end, yes there are some rocks that you can climb up and if you do, you will be greatly rewarded! You certainly don't have to go to the top and I understand it gets very challenging so it's up to you. I only went up a little bit that I felt comfortable, but was still able to get some of the best views I saw during my entire trip and Sedona! I do recommend trying to go a little ways up. You certainly don't have to go further than you're comfortable. Well, let's talk about the actual trail, certainly the best, well marked trail I saw during my trip. Also, what's face it? It's an easy trail, which is awesome because you can just enjoy all the breathtaking views of Faye Canyon and will not need to worry and you could bring family members along young and old. You can knock this hike out in about an hour to an hour and a half and some of the best views I saw in Sedona I saw during this hike. But to be clear, there's some challenging parts if you wish to take them for one thing, there's a large pile of boulders and rocks at the end of the trail, which I mentioned before, but you can climb up those to a height that you feel comfortable and you will be rewarded with some of the best views that you will see during your trip. There is also a side trail halfway through the trail that goes off to an arch. I've read up about this and saw some videos and it looks very challenging and I would do that if you're an experienced hiker and you feel comfortable, I passed on that, but I was very satisfied with the views I got during the easy trail and a little bit of the rocks at the end. The parking lot is huge with a bathroom. I'm really not sure what else you can do to make this trail a great experience! Highly recommended for beginners and experts! Don't miss it, and this is the only trail in Sedona where I felt comfortable, not using an app like all trails, the trail is so clearly marked plus you're in a canyon so kind of impossible to get lost.

Sedona is just breathtaking so any hike will give you great views but if there's a large parking lot it starts the hike off in the best way. $5.00 all day parking and even better they have a restroom.
