It is located in the cancer center which I wasn't aware of so I parked in the wrong lot. It was fine I walked and got some steps in. When I got to the office I was quickly checked in. Just asked the regular covid questions and temperature. No biggie. I waited outside for less than 15 minutes and was called in. The medical asst talked to me first. So nice. Friendly and thorough. I waited in the room less than 5 minutes and the nurse called me into another room. Everything was very quick but in a good way. He was thorough. He talked me through everything. His nurse was also very sweet. E faxed my medication and all. All in all great experience from the office personnel to the medical ones to the doctor. Thank you for your services. The service is very good in general, but the billing/accounting services are incredibly inefficient. I moved away years ago and for some reason, I just got a notice that they tried to bill my insurance (in Dec.2023) for services from 2021! And I previously had to contact them back and forth for approx. 8 months to try to get another bill paid by my insurance, which I was finally able to get resolved once they sent an itemized bill (which should be standard). I am just appalled that the billing process has been so complicated.

Now, days before my prescription expires, I have to scramble back to my referring doctor to renew my prescription. My previous pain management doctor has been transitioning all of his opiate clients out of his practice and referred me specifically to Dr. Kamlet because this is his speciality. I assumed there would be little issue. It's a real slap in the face, on top of already having come in last month to receive ketamine treatment for my back-pain and being turned away due to their practice not using ketamine to treat back-pain, which I explicitly explained to the receptionist that I would come in for over the phone. Traversing the ever-changing field of medical care regarding opioid pain medication is hard enough and painful enough without falling victim to this kind of careless and abusive mismanagement.
