Once they pulled the shingles the rot in the plywood and eaves was clearly extensive. We are impressed at how quickly Gold City was able to replace all the damaged wood and how well the repairs were completed. Afterwards, the workers performed a thorough clean up all around the house, the gutters and parking area. Our organization owns a large number of commercial facilities including homes and hotels and we have detailed tracking of average expenses for a project like this, Gold City's quote and final invoice for all this work was well within our expectations. Based on their communication from start to finish, their team's professionalism in all aspects and the final result for a very fair price, I highly recommend Gold City Roofing.

Even if you already have another roofer in mind, it's absolutely worth your time to get a quote from Moon Roofing for comparison. In April 2025, our offer on a house in South Salem was accepted. During the inspection, it was clear the roof needed to be replaced. Our real estate agent referred us to a roofer he knew, but I wanted a second opinion. After reading reviews on Yelp, I decided to reach out to Moon Roofing. From my first call, the experience was impressive. Ariana answered the phone right away. I explained our situation and the urgency, and she promised to follow up within a couple of hours. Less than an hour later, she let me know that Armando would be stopping by that evening to inspect the roof, and that I'd have a quote the next day. Sure enough, the quote arrived early the next morning. The roofer referred by our agent also came out and provided a quote. Both companies quoted the same product (IKO Dynasty), and their prices were competitive with each other. After we closed in June, we asked both companies to re-quote the project using a higher-end material--Malarkey Windsor architectural shingles. Moon Roofing's updated quote was less than the other roofer's updated quote. The Malarkey shingles were special order and had about a two-week lead time. Armando managed to get the product in and installed just under that timeframe. He also replaced sixteen sheets of plywood and installed a new skylight, all for a very reasonable additional cost. We are thrilled with the final result and so glad we chose Moon Roofing. The quality, service, and value exceeded our expectations.

I'd like to say what a relief to deal with a company that actually comes through with professionals who arrive on time, ready to work. Emillio, inspected our roof and gave us a full consultation. He had demos and was able to clearly walk us through our options. We chose to replace the whole roof and we received a very fair price and a guaranteed work. The work was to start a few weeks out, I was happy to not have to call or check in to make sure if they were going to show up. Emillio communicated clearly and the work started as planned. I have to also put in good words for his choice of workers, he has a good team of workers. All of them respectful and diligent, they started right away and impressively worked til nearly the sunset! The quality of roof products, the quality of work done, the reliability shown and the end result of a beautiful roof make us very happy. I write this review and wish I could put down 10 stars. We will always recommend Roof it all to anyone needing to give their home some roof attention.

The Last Roof gave me estimates for three different brands of roofing and I was able to choose the color according to what the brand offered. Additionally, I've not been able to find any certification listing from James Hardie with their informaiton so I'm suspect about the warranty on my product. The original work left with very poor trim, many nails not being set in fully and both of my hose bibs unusable, which they did actually fix. I still have the plumbing for my outdoor sink unattached, an electrical box for the AC just dangling off the side of the house and a vent placed on the wall that doesn't attach to anything. They claim this is acceptable work from their end and won't even come back out to look a the damage they have left behind. I would not suggest anyone hire this company to hang a picture, much less attempt to do actual work on your investment.
