Instead of coming in and engineering a plan he has pandered to the BOD, we have had no less 10 revisions to the original plan, all changes have been as a result of residents (non-engineers) discovering issues with the "engineered" plan, from personal favors, to depicting the drainage easement inaccurately, to attempting to have water flow uphill, falsely representing elevations, to suggesting the contractor deceive the city and tell them the work was maintenance vs. construction. AND we still don't have a plan that will work, he has stated it's not perfect, but it will be an improvement. As of today Mr. Nevin has billed our HOA 12K, and he stated he was not hired to design a plan that would work, he was hired to obtain a permit.

In my case they bought a supposedly uncollected bill dating back to the YEAR 2000 and sixteen years later starting calling me at all hours with recorded phone call, robodialing, and asking me a lot of questions: "Is this Mr. X" "Who's asking?" "I am Paul calling from Diversified Consultants" "I need to verify some information from you" "Ever hear of phishing? I'm not answering any of your questions." "I am calling about Direct TV" "I don't want Direct TV and you ARE a telemarketer -- trying to sell me Direct TV." "I am not trying to sell you Direct TV." "Good." [hangup] This repeated itself like 5 times until they eventually gave up. Then they started messing with my credit reports filing "uncollected bills" as a clear form of extortion to get me to pay a bill that I have no recollection of incuring (I'm not sure if I even had Direct TV and if I did, I always pay all my bills and have lived in the same house for 15 years ... so why does this pop-up 16 years later?) The answer is that there is a now an industry of scumbags who do this for a living and these guys are one of them. They are very organized and have developed an amazing system to manage clients virtually. They were transparent about costs during their free consultation. Perhaps our favorite part is the virtual review of our taxes via a video that Greg creates. Jax Color is my go to for my art prints and large artwork scans. The location is great with easy…read moreparking so it isn't difficult to get in and out. If you live anywhere besides Riverside/Downtown/Springfield it's only a few blocks off 95 Park Street exit. Some items can be pricey but they work with you when you need something special-which is different than a place you'd order online. You get to speak with an actual human face to face and are able to explain what you want with visuals rather than just over the phone. They also print on fabrics and canvas. My favorite thing to use them for is large scale scans of artwork. It's the only place in town I found to do them-other than finding a professional photographer who will take photos of your work then give you the images. They charge $5 a scan. So awesome! They can also transfer the files to you using a file transfer utility app (like Dropbox) or you can bring a thumb drive with you. Try them out for yourself!
