I've been here three times since they opened in January, every single time the waiter service has absoluetly SUCKED. -First time it was my girlfriend and I with another couple, the guy came over and it seemed like we were bothering him by giving him our order. Before the food shows up a table of 3 ladies seeming to have a girls night out get seated across the aisle from us. They get seated by one guy and another guy plus OUR waiter go over and start flirting it up with them. ZERO tip. -Second time was OKAY at best -Third time I had my beer sitting empty for over a half hour, no one EVER asked if I wanted another one. My buddy didn't really want his so I drank it, then we had to ask to get our ticket at the end of the night. $1.00 for a tip The food is decent for a burger and sandwich place, they have 16 taps, but their service is absoluetly horrible. read more

I went to Hop Jack's with my husband and two friend on a Sunday night. The restaurant was pretty busy, but we were seated immediately and had great service the whole time. We had heard that service at Hop Jack's was not very attentive, but we found out server very helpful and our drinks were never empty. She gave us recommendation for drinks, appetizers and entrees and was quite personable. Definitely get the strawberry cheesecake drink in the ice glass, super cute and incredibly tasty! Our meal was fantastic too, my biggest complaint was that everything was incredibly greasy. read more

We love it here! Love the bottomless lemonade!! I am a weight loss surgery patient so I can barely eat or drink anything and this allows me to have some of my hubby's without feeling bad for stealing his drink :) Also, there are a lot of good appetizer options for smaller portions and they all make yummy leftovers. I personally love the chicken quesadilla appetizer, it is delish!! We are out of state-working briefly in town. Went first time to this place during covid times to get quick bite. I Commented on waitress eyes that they were beautiful blue-i am 63yo female heterosexual with brown eyes.I am a registered nurse and retired military 24 years active duty. My husband and brother in law was seated at table. They did not comment on waitress. They were talking about old times when use to live in the area as children. When taking our order for food the waitress asked what each wanted to drink-the 2 guys wanted to try sample of IPA made by establishment. She brought samples but then said she could not serve drinks without food. They had planned on ordering a tap beer but changed their minds when waitress made that comment. They did not order any drinks other than water. We ordered, ate our food and departed restaurant. We chose to pay bill with cash $57.00 in which the bill was $56.36. We did not leave tip because we felt service did not warrant tip. The waitress was kind of rude & inattentive. When the waitress initially approached the table she sort of slid napkins on table and appeared focused on another table making comment, "oh shit!" I paid for what i consumed. I will not return to this restaurant. It actually sucked. read more

It's been a year since I've visited Hop Jacks, the last time was after the opening and the servers just hadn't gotten into the groove yet but we decided since the lot is full and it seems busy we'd try it again. Door was opened for us as we approached and seated right away, Drinks were brought right away with a smile and orders taken. Now the food, fries were great but I ordered the Black and Bleu burger, burger was a cooked almost a bit too much, it's supposed to come with chipotle mayo which there was a bit much and bit overpowering, masking the Bleu cheese. The frizzled onions I was expecting are obviously not made there and are like small chips of fried onions, like the kind you get from a box. My girlfriend ordered "Kyles Damn Good Sandwich"pickles on the side. Lots of turkey hardly any ham noticed and I couldn't find any swiss cheese on it. Couldn't tasted the garlic butter or the ceaser dressing but a halfway decent sandwich. They came by several times, told us about the deserts and it was a very friendly experience. But one thing did stand out. My girlfriend got one of those ice drinks, raspberry I believe. 10.25 for the drink just seems a bit much, cost almost as much as a meal. We'll be coming back, gonna try happy hour and maybe even breakfast next times. read more

My whole family always enjoys eating at Hop Jack's. In fact, if we are going out to eat, we go to HJ because it is the best restaurant we've tried in Silverdale. The Western Burger is AMAZING, especially when you add guacamole. The Fish n Chips are fantastic and the BBQ Quesadilla is scrumptious. I don't think we've had anything we didn't like. The atmosphere is enjoyable and it's a fine place to take kids. read more

"Giant" french dip, must be talking about the bread 'cause the meat sure wasn't. The taps looked all frosty but the beer wasn't very cold and the glasses weren't chilled. I have only been here for breakfast, but the breakfast is great. I have had the eggs benedict both times I've been here. They advertise it as something special and it is. The best I remember ever having. The hollandaise sauce is wonderful. My husband had one of the breakfast scramble/grill type things and his was excellent too. This is my favorite place to eat in Silverdale when I want good american food. Their burgers are fresh, juicy, and very flavorful. Their salads are served with tortilla strips instead of croutons (we hate croutons). I've never had bad food here, but my favorites are the Western Burger, Big Juan (off the menu, but you can still order it), Southwest BBQ salad, and fried pickles. Their potato chip nachos are also the best I've had (southwestern flair to them - can you tell I like southwest???). The prices are a little high for burgers, but I love the quality and flavor of the food so I feel I get what I pay for and keep going back. read more

The staff here are like family and you can see that with how they work. This is by far the absolute best place to go in Silverdale, with friends and family. There are certain people in particular, Steve and Clayton that make this place amazing. These two are an extremely strong duo; that always strive for excellence and customer satisfaction. My wife and I have been regulars at Hopjacks, usually on Saturday late afternoon. Have always had great food and wonderful service. The staff is attentive and very friendly. We have made some great friends with the management and staff. It is a great place to have a good time. We try to get service from Ashely, if you ever have her to serve you, you will be impressed. Took my family here for Mother's Day lunch. Clayton greeted us and took very good care of us, after being handed off from a departing Hop Jack's team member. Service was great except for one minor issue. 5 out of the 6 of us got our meals and we waited for a bit while our oldest son's food was expected to arrive. After a bit, one of the servers shared with us that our oldest's meal had not been ordered and it would take a bit until it arrived. At our oldest's request, we began to eat and about 10 minutes later our oldest's meal arrived, delivered by the Manager, who informed us that "I'm so sorry for the mix up, this one's on me." The food was delicious and certain to fill you up. Upon receipt of the bill, we noticed that our oldest's meal had not been removed or "comp'd", and in the interest of time, I paid the bill and we left to continue the day's activities and shopping. While not a big deal, Hop Jack's communication amongst one another could definitely be improved. To tell a patron, "sorry, I've got this" and then not live up to that commitment or follow through, leaves one to wonder what Hop Jack's word means to them. Aside from that, we got to see and briefly hat with a variety of the Hop Jack's team. Great team of folks, dedicated to taking care of people. Only one small area that needs improvement. Food- 5 stars easily. It was unbelievable. Fresh salad, fresh burger, amazing flavor. We always had our drinks refilled and even at 1:00 on a Monday, the place was super busy yet the service remained consistent and quick. I will admit that I was slightly alarmed at the price- especially for the casual decor in there. I usually only spend 15 bucks on a dish if it's for a nice date or special occasion... but I tend to agree with what many people say- "you get what you pay for." I will definitely be returning to Hopjacks. It's my new favorite place to eat in Silverdale. read more
