Location/Parking: This is an older Hooters Restaurant. You can tell that it's older based off the worn booths inside the restaurant. There is a lot of parking at this restaurant. Food: Every Hooters is consistent across the board. We like to buy the original bone in wings for Parmesan Garlic and Lemon Pepper. We also get an order of curly fries. The fries could be seasoned a bit more. Merch: You can purchase Hooters merchandise at the front where you check in with the hostess. Bathroom: There is a bathroom but one stall was broken in the women's bathroom. Overall, if you're craving wings, come out to Hooters! They won't disappoint. This location is increasingly beginning to be a weekly spot we visit. The staff the several times we have been have always been really attentive and personable. Of course they have wings but lately I've been trying some other things. Buffalo shrimp is obviously very good. The shrimp talks definitely hit the spot. No complaints. Went here last night to meet up with a co-worker I had not seen in a long time. Got there before my friend and was sat right away (not too crowded). My waitress, Laura, was top notch. She made sure I got my drink order and came right back after my friend showed up. She had a few tables, but made sure to stop at each table for superb service. Got to chatting with her about life and really enjoyed her outlook. Thank you for the wonderful conversation and I wish you the best! Got a couple of beers to enjoy with our food and couldn't believe Elysian Space Dust was the same price as my friend's Dos Equis!! Love those large beers! The food at Hooters is actually pretty decent, and there are some somewhat healthy options. I love the chill setting with the sexy attire of the waitresses. And the prices aren't bad. This has to be one of the best visits I've had to any HOOTERS in SATX. "De De" was our waitress and she was very nice and polite, but we could not hear her very well. She was as quiet as a church mouse. It was funny. I ordered the 6 piece Roasted "Honey Sriracha" wings and they were delish. I also ordered the "Waffle Fries" with melted cheese sauce, it was good but nothing special. To wash it all down I ordered a "Guinness" it was served in it's own Guinness brand draft glass. Ordered take out via Uber Eats. The smothered grilled chicken sandwich was delicious! Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. The fries were ok, just not enough of them to go with my entree. The queso dip was good, the chips not so much. Several of the chips were greasy and chewy, lacking crispness. Also, there was some sort of seasoning that was not evenly distributed. Okay so I'm not really expecting much from this place considering it's mid day during the week but there should be some standard of professionalism. The bartender did see me after all. And she did sign me to a seat. I've been waiting about 15 minutes for a server and not seen anyone even pass by, except what I'm assuming was a manager. Who didn't acknowledged me either. This is a serious disappointment considering I am one of the few customers in the place. A server is across the room and still nothing. Let's give them a ouf 5 more minutes before we bounce. The bad part is I was actually looking forward to this killer Fish sandwich they have here. I usually hit up the location at San Pedro ( actually off 281) for the same order and it's really good. But it's also a lot busier ( I think I can guess why). There is now a hostess at her station and she is actually looking at me and still....nothing. I'd expect to be ignored like this at say an olive garden or IHOP. This is a great disappointment since I can't wait around and have to be off to work. I hadn't been to Hooters in a few years, but I've been craving a buffalo chicken sandwich and you didn't disappoint!!! The bar top was too crowded for my liking so i opted for a small table. The chicken was juicy, tasty and of course had the perfect buffalo sauce flavor. The fries could have been a little crispier, but i should've asked for them to be as i like the crop crisp in my fries, but they might have been sitting for a bit as they weren't as hot as I've had in the past. Pretty disappointing. I hadn't been to a Hooters in MANY years. I chose the healthy option - Garden Salad $6.99. Lame, I know. Spring mixed greens with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, (I held the cheese and the croutons) The greens were kind of wilted, just didn't seem like it was fresh. Draft beer was nice and cold, but the waitress was pretty much a limp noodle (just not very fun - even though we tried) and didn't really check on us very often. *Delivery Order* Another craving, another delivery. I wanted a burger and cake and I got a pretty sweet deal. However, I paid about an average price and that was with the delivery fee waived. If I had to pay a delivery fee, I probably wouldn't have ordered from here. I purchased a Western BBQ Burger and a slice of chocolate mousse cake. The burger came with a side of curly fries and two thick onion rings. That part surprised me. I was able to get the best of both worlds with that order. The whole meal sans the cake took maybe 4-5 hours to consume (#vsglife) but overall it was very filling and pretty good. The fries could have been better but that's the usual drawback on fries with any delivery from any restaurant. The onion rings were juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. I wish I had more than two, to be honest. The burger was HUGE and had BBQ sauce and bacon. Overall pretty filling and tasty. I wasn't floored or knocked off my feet by it, though. The chocolate mousse cake came with some chocolate sauce to drizzle over it, though it tasted straight from a Hershey's squeeze bottle. I felt more inclined to mix it with milk in my fridge. I've been coming here on special occasions like World Cup for quite a while. They usually have a seat/table open, but occasionally have had a small wait (like if USA were playing). Anyway, they have good wings and good beer list. My server this time around, Gaby, was more talkative and friendly than most I've had. She even convinced me to try their dessert shooters. I've never ever had them before, she recommended the cookie dough, but I went with the cheese cake and wow. Small and tasty! I've been in San Antonio for a little over a month and I've been here a couple Sunday's. I really liked Lauren the bartender super cute and her attitude is always on point. I never even really considered filling out a review until I watched the events unfold I did tonight. Disclaimer I work in the bar industry. I have seen many intoxicated people over many years. For every company I have ever worked for the first priority is getting the guest home safe. Today was clearly not the case. An older man John I sat next to and he had clearly had a few but he was ok. After an hour or so it was clear he needed to go home. I returned from the restroom watching Lauren escort him to the door she said she had called him a cab. The manager Jose didn't help, didn't assist her. Just sat at the host stand doing nothing. I helped Lauren get him out and wait for the cab and make sure he didn't fall down. Lauren had his keys and after a few minutes of waiting I came inside got his keys and ordered him an Uber. Again with zero assistance from the hooters manager Jose. I put him in an Uber on my own dime and sent him on his way. Hooters should be ashamed of the actions of this manager and their company name. I have been coming to this place for awhile. Food and service has always been superb. Today we came in and placed an order and our waitress forgot our drink order. She was at another table just talking with other co workers. We had to flag down another waitress to get our order. We then wanted to order food. We had to flag down the manager to place our order because our waitress was busy with her back turned talking with other workers. She never cleared our table. And we felt neglected. Our tab was well over $200. She missed out on a very nice tip. For what it is, it's good. Not particularly great, but good. Been where a couple times, either because one of my friends wants to drag us there to watch a game, or because one of my coworkers wants to go there after a meeting (and it's literally within walking distance of the office). Given that this is a Hooters, i'm going to completely ignore atmosphere for this review. You know yourself, and so you'll know if this is your atmosphere or not. For me personally it's not really my scene, and that would be a detriment, but I'll be instead focusing on the food and service. So, the food here is actually slightly better than I expected of a Hooters. It's not the best ever (but I'm probably a snob when it comes to that, because ever since I really learned to cook myself I have a hard time considering anybody's food better than mine [or maybe that's just ego?]). It was good, though. Maybe slightly lower quality than BWW, for a frame of reference. The service, on the other hand...has been great all times that I've been in to this location. Seriously, five stars, hands down. Maybe it's the fact that I've only been here with regulars (said coworker and said friend who have dragged me here are both regulars), maybe it's just exceptional training of their wait staff, or maybe I've just been lucky, but my experience has been 5-star service every time I've been here. It's still not my favorite place, mind you (again, atmosphere just isn't me, but this might not apply to you)...but it's worth going to, and I'll likely go again next time our sales director wants beer and wings. read more

Hooters North/West San Antonio; stop 5 of 20! (Added two pictures, I'm in none of them.) Leaping from downtown San Antonio to North West San Antonio to visit the Wurzback Hooter's was a easy drive. We arrived in the parking lot within 15 minutes, now here is the problem, this Hooters has a very small parking lot, not enough spaces to cover the customer base they have. We have been here at least 10 times over the last eight years or so. We have never been able to find a parking space in the small lot, so we drive around and around and it is a difficult lot to drive around in as well. Well as luck would have it we saw someone leaving, we speed to the spot to beat the other 10 circling cars, yeah, we got it. We wobbled inside and had our passports stamped. We didn't eat this time but have eaten here many times. This is a Hooter's, the wings and burgers are always consistent, the girls here are very cute. When I came here w/ some friends this past Sunday night, it was tough to get a seat since the place was packed due to the 49ers/Giants game. I wanted a frozen margarita but the waitress told me their margarita machine was broken so I ordered a sangria, which came served in a beer mug but was delicious. For an appetizer, me and some friends split some of their famous fried pickles, which were so good I definitely regret sharing. lol Then my entree was a 20 pc of their habanero BBQ wings, which really weren't that spicy along w/ an order of curly fries.
