This place is well kept, clean, and brand new...welcome to the new experience at hooters as it opens its new doors to the public...(the old one burned down) It had a nice calm atmosphere as we dined on some wings before our concert. It has so much potential and it's kind of sad it's always empty. Don't know if it's the management or what it is. The buffalo wings are very good. They never advertise or have promotions. I have loved the breaded original wings for years. Lightly breaded and a very unique flavor. Went to the Hooters in Corpus Christi ordered 20 original wings. The wings came naked with very little if any breading. I mentioned it to the manager who dropped it off and he said no those are breaded. When the waitress came over I showed her and she agreed they were not correct. The wings they brought me were over breaded and had noo flavor. Maybe they were out of corporate breading but these wings were awful. Another person ordered a burger and he said it was good but there were no veggies he ordered and waited for almost 10 minutes for a knife to cut it in half. Fried pickles we not very good as well. Late night meal and ordered from the hooter website. It took 48mins and it was walking distance to get. Since we were from out of town and late we just waited for the dasher. Our order came in cold and wrong. They charged for Flats which I asked and I did not get what I ordered. Then when I called their customer service the lady was rude and was only on the job for 7 days according to her and did not know what to do. So she left us on hold for over 30 mins and hung up on us. Was in the mood for a beer and some hot wings. Well not long after arriving did I remember why I do not eat at Hooters anymore. First off this location has poor customer service. No one was available at the host stand when I arrived so I had to wait a while before being seated. Of course there was not much going on in this restaurant yet the waitress was nowhere to be found, sat there for quite a bit before she finally arrived. Took my order and oddly enough the food arrive quickly, almost too quickly. As I started to eat the food again I remembered why I did not eat at Hooters anymore. The fries are cold and the wings were oddly chewy. Waitress disappeared for my entire meal only to return to bring me the check. I travel frequently, and hooters is probably my most frequent stop when out of town. Genuinely enjoy the food, and the waitresses tend to be pretty friendly. This experience was subpar at best. Drinks took forever, waitress was nice but seemed to not really care to be there, and the wings had hardly any sauce on them (2 were basically dry). I can get over a waitress having a bad day, we all do. I love the wings, though. I'm a regular hooters goer in San Antonio. I get the same thing every time and these were by far, the worst wings I've ever had. Hardly any sauce, the medium did NOT taste like medium, they were rubbery, greasy and had hardly any meat on the eight boneless I ordered as well. She also didn't know the address for the location, the signs weren't lit and I asked for drumsticks only, which didn't happen. I hope this is not indicative of my weekend stay as an out of towner. My son wanted to go to Hooter's for his 13th birthday. The waitress Jordan was kind and attentive. We all ordered and waited 40 minutes for food. My husbands boneless wings were soggy and cold. My brother in law ordered a POUND of shrimp and got 12, YES 12 shrimp. That is NOT a pound. My sister ordered boneless chicken salad and the chicken was cold. We also ordered 3 fries that were cold. Okay, so, we were able to walk right in and sit down with like zero wait. That was a plus. That's where the pluses ended. Since our waitress had to keep referring to her list of items that they were "out of" on a Sunday afternoon, we had to adjust our choices many times. Not the best way to start my experience. The restaurant was clean and well maintained and The food, of course, was up to par, however the service was lackluster at best. Our waitress checked in on us occasionally and would then inexplicably disappear for what seemed like unreal amounts of time. Megan was the bartender and she was ready to go when I arrived at hooters late Monday night at 11pm. I was on a business trip and decided I'll go to the closest place. Great wings and service was great. A little warm in the restaurant and they served us warm ranch dressing with our wings so we sent the ranch back to prevent the possibility of getting sick. They brought us cold ranch and service by Alex was great! Def recommend! read more

A coworker treated us for lunch! It was a really nice experience. They have remodeled their place and the ambience is much better since they remodeled. Our wings and appetizers were delicious! I checked in through yelp and they gave me a free hooters glass. That was awesome!! I was so impressed with their manager Nicole. She periodically kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything else along with our waitress Ally. They just made it extra special for us!! I will definitely be coming back to Hooters! Sad to say, this was a bad experience for me. My parents & I were on vacation from Los Angeles in '04. I usually avoid Hooters. I somehow lose my appetite surrounded by orange wedgies (great if you're a Trump supporter). This particular one was a few doors down from my hotel and my co-pilot wanted to grab a beer and watch the game. Okay, at least the wings are good. Unfortunately not at this location. I had an order of shrimp and a 6 piece wing both original. The shrimp were tiny, dry, and bland. The wings were the same. Either they changed the recipe, forgot to put sauce on, or they simply suck. There is a reason Hooters is sliding to the likes of Twin Peaks and Tilted Kilt and its branding and lack of great service. Hooters is in need of major changes and this 1980's look isn't cutting it. Now for the review on the Corpus location... Walked in and thought it looked like most Hooters I had been to circa1988-1995 except the girls didn't have big hair. The girls were very pretty but had an attitude. Then I remembered where I was. I was asked if I would like a drink and asked for beer menu. There is a large selection of beers but nothing local just the same corporate crap most Hooters serve. I did not see the girl again for five minutes. See pics. There was a chat session going on behind the bar with no regard to the people waiting to put in their drink and food order. Meanwhile I looked around. The place is just dated like all Hooters are. It's not this local fault but damn this is just a tired look and feel. Complete with 80s music even! Finally the young lady came back and I ordered a beer and asked for a menu. The beer (Abita Amber) was cold and refreshing (thus the one star) the menu hasn't changed. Oh wait! The menu itself HAS changed and looks very campy almost cartoonish. I decided I'll have my beer and move on. There are newer and better place to eat dinner in Corpus Christi. Let's hope Twin Peaks comes to CC! read more
