Everyone had some sort of burger, and after everything arrived I liked what I saw. Just the right amount of toasted sourdough bread and the burger had plenty of flavor and juiciness to it. For sides the curly fries were on point also. Crunchy but not over or undercooked to be soggy or oily. This was a pleasant surprise and I can hopefully get the fam to try them out. So if you're looking for an out of the way spot. You need to stop by. Not sure if the same cook or staff is always there. But today on point guy's. On point ps just wish I had taken a photo. ‍

I got the medium spice with lemon pepper, but was disappointed because they just topped the wings with lemon pepper. They didn't throw them together to where they mix. Then the other one I got teriyaki and it seems like they're just fried balloons through teriyaki sauce on them mix or cook them. We went when it was still happy hour pay three dollars for beer, which was a good buy I didn't realize it was the price of extra celery was 3.99 and that was more expensive than the french fries. They have a saying that they're the best wings in town, but I don't think so. The waitress was really nice and the manager actually turned the table touched which a lot of restaurant managers don't do anymore. I would avoid sitting in a booth because they are very uncomfortable. It's a cool place to watch sports and stuff, but I gotta be doing something right if it's always busy, but I would just avoid the wings in my opinion Would I go back again, yes but not for the wings.

The last time we ordered the ribeye quesadillas, when we went to pay, we noticed the bill was a lot more than it should have been..we asked the waitress and she explained that the prices on the menu are not correct...?...and she never told us ahead of time. Instead of the meals being $27.99, they were $30.99. Plus beverages were more. All without any notification from staff. They are ripping people off and not saying anything..no itemized tickets. I just noticed because we use to eat there all the time. Well...... When we went today, I asked our waiter ahead of ordering if the $27.99 for each plate (that it states on the menu) was correct, or are they upcharging? He said "no, it's more..my manager tries to explain to us but we don't understand" and my answer to him was because there is no explanation, pure and simple. This is wrong, and dishonest..all those people, paying their bills not knowing they are being upcharged. We will NEVER, after 20 + years between Portland and Aransas Pass, EVER go back. They should be shut down for ripping people off. If you eat here, you better check your tickets for discrepancy. I wanted to tell the other two tables, on a Friday evening around 4:30, that they were all being charged more than they thought, but my husband said, nope it will come back to get them. We asked for our ticket for 1 beer, and the waiter said he would give us our food for the price on the menu..we declined, paid for beer and left. THAT was bulllllllshit..and they won't fix it. I think it just gives them the opportunity to charge whatever the HELL the want to whomever they want.

We ordered two deviled eggs and one came out without the bacon, which kind of set the tone for the rest of the meal. The Bloody Mary, which they're supposedly known for, is now a batch cocktail and you can absolutely tell. It lacked flavor, spice, and even basic seasoning. It also didn't come with the celery, bacon, or pickled onions that used to make it stand out. It was mid at best. The barbacoa tacos were also underwhelming. They weren't very filled and lacked flavor overall. Service unfortunately didn't help the experience either. We had to remind our waitress about the Big Reds that were supposed to come with the meal, and they didn't arrive until I was already halfway done eating. We also had to flag down another employee just to get steak knives for the people eating steak and eggs. Honestly, I won't be going back. It's pretty telling that a restaurant that used to be packed is now barely half full. The quality just doesn't seem to match the reputation anymore.
