Was sold special-order storm doors without my knowledge, so I couldn't get a refund! Months after final payment I discovered outlets wired to the wrong circuit breaker box and had to call them back for re-work. On the good side, they rightly stood up to building inspector to widen doorway. Overall, most work was well done, even if it was deeply frustrating with little accounting given for expenses. FYI: Don't let them talk their way out of providing references of work on comparable properties first..

Karl was very quick to respond to our concerns and made sure the project stayed on track and the work was completed to our standards. He took the time to recommend places to visit to help us pick out the finishes (flooring, tile, etc.) and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Returned to find 4 guys IN MY FRUIT TREES like zoo animals, testing the limbs for strength. The trucks tore up the yard with 8" ruts because of course, they just drive where-ever to get close to the house, Jim again saying he'd be back to repair but NOPE! This was the most regrettable choice I've made and i hope that this may save you some remorse. And he uses the cheapest materials available, cutting all corners and complained bitterly anytime I challenged him. Ultimately, you have choices - and you have every reason to expect to get what you've paid for. This ISN'T that. If this is your only option, modify the contract to partial payment and total upon SATISFACTORY COMPLETION. Otherwise Jim Muir will leave the promises in the past and you won't see him again... I had issues with my insurance com- USAA- stating I only needed partial repairs, etc- not a whole roof replacement. Jim and another roofing con tractor both said I needed a new roof. Jim agreed to talk with USAA with me as USAA informed me the homeowner has to be involved in the call. , said he would have the roofer take pictures. When it came time ( after the new roof, soffets , etc were installed) to call USAA- Jim did not answer my texts, phone calls. He finally sent a text stating he tried to call the insurance company, and I have a substandard policy. That was the end of it. We chose to end things there and go with another company. However, even after speaking with the boss and him admitted no services were provided by not being able to even diagnose the problem, we were still charged over $250 for nothing. We are at square one and are going with another company who has guaranteed a diagnosis or there will be no charge. The techs who came out were extremely nice and hard working. I do not fault them for what has happened. I 100% fault the owner and the terrible business practices they have. If someone more experienced had to come after the first techs, but did not charge an additional fee for their own inexperience, I would have gladly paid. Save yourself a lot of time & money - I would highly suggest going elsewhere. PLEASE read other one star reviews because they are EXACTLY what we experienced.

He provided a free estimate. The quote was very reasonable (out of three) and we decided to go with them. They were promptly here when they said they would be here, professional in appearance and actions and work. Our yard was clean when they left. In 2021 Mid Town did approximately 58,000 of roof work on our Condos. In 2022, I became the Treasurer of my HOA. I realized that the Management Company whom did the Contracting with Cory as our Agent, refused to disclose all financial records to the board. After many back and forth, she sent me an assessment for one building when we had roofing done on two complex. While dealing with the Management Company I decided to reach out to Corey the owner. I explained to him my situation, and why I am requesting records, preparing for an audit. He said he would need to talk to the Management Company first. I gave him permission to verify my position on the board with the Management Company as well. The next day when Corey and I touch base again, he told me he will only disclose records with the Management Company. I ask Corey if he could give me his email so I can have my lawyer correspond with him. His exact words are, "I will give you nothing!" I am not upset that Corey is making sure he doesn't breach contract, I am upset that he completely refused my offer to find a way through my legal council to make sure we both are acting within our legal abilities to exchange information. It is pretty disheartening to think that our HOA funds went to give this man business and he has no qualms about treating me, the actual customer that funded him so disrespectfully and refusing to cooperate after he has our payment. Update: I didn't get the information directly from Mid Towne, the Management company sent me some copy of records to include two checks paid to Mid Towne. One was "hand written" for $14,000 and not recorded in quick book. Worst was that the cost was reported to us as 56,000 but the record shows it was 58,484 that was paid out. Not only that, when I finally retrieve the BID with a demand letter from my lawyer and a huge argument with the Management company, the record shows that we took the highest BID for a lesser value roof (25-30 yrs) compared to the other two companies (50 yr value for 51,000). Turns out, that our Management company and Mid Towne has known each other for "20 years" and highly regards and respects each other. Corey sent me a bogus letter from his lawyer to demand I take my review down or he will sue me. So my lawyer sent Corey a letter of "record preservation" I will update later as new developments happens.

Worked with Corey when our roof started leaking after the torrential rainstorm in August…read more Unfortunately for us it was found that our roof had been installed incorrectly with the previous owner and Corey worked with us and our insurance company, talking with us on the phone multiple times, coming over and going over our roof with the insurance inspector and educating us on what went wrong and how to avoid the same mistakes in the future. The roof was installed without proper venting and although our insurance co wasn't willing to cover it Corey worked with us to come up with a price for a roof replacement that worked for both of us. Corey was extremely good at communicating (easy to get ahold of and if you didn't get through called you back right away), was honest, kind, courteous, performed top-quality work and was reasonable both in cost and speed of job completion. We replaced our 3 skylights with him too and met an amazing drywaller/painter through him too! We will never work with anyone else for any roofing or skylight needs! Corey is simply the best. They don't make them like Corey anymore. Book him if you're looking for an honest roofer/remodeler/construction co without the run around.
