The price to spend (AN UNLIMITED) time with the cats is $13, which is a GREAT deal compared to the other cat cafes I've been to in LA or San Diego! The cats are well cared for, and the workers are very attentive, making sure to keep an eye on both you and the kitties during your visit. You are allowed to pick up the cats and snuggle as long as you are being mindful of the cats' comfort and body language- another difference between this cat cafe and the others I've visited. This place is also a nonprofit so anything you purchase goes towards caring for the cats, and all of the little knickknacks they have for sale are pretty cute and reasonably priced too! Please give this place a visit and support the kitties! A good amount of them love the attention and are well-socialized!

There was another female employee there and a male employee who just smiled at me which was comforting. Jennifer was very patient, kind and understanding as I unloaded a big black garbage bag with Liz Claiborne huge bath sheets (unopened) so the dogs would have something to lay on, lots of sealed up food from Dr. Marty. Dr. Marty's Essential Blend and Tilly's Treasures as a food topper. I brought rope toys, stuffed animals and one of Bella's favorite unopened toy; a stuffed gator. I used to sing the song to her, "gator face, you've got the cutest little gator face, no one is ever going to take your place, gator face, You are my whole wide world, you are my cutest girl. Gator face, you are cutest girl around, you are my pretty girl you are my whole wide world you my pretty gator face! Important notice if you are going to adopt a dog from here just be careful and ready for a heart…read morebreak because my wife and I went here on Tuesday to look at dogs and as we were leaving we saw this beautiful puppy and one of the workers were fostering it and we as if we could look at it and they yes and told us it was going up for adoption on Thursday, so we were excited, but they said there was another family also looking to adopt this dog and said that we would have to get here early to try to claim it and if multiple people want the dogs, they would do a raffle for it to see who would get it but what they didn't tell us is that they were the ones who won the dog so when we showed up here on Thursday, they were able to get in front of the line cause they just had to come out of the works spot and immediately as the door open, they shot Forward and instantly started to fill out the paperwork for the dog, which is not cool at all for getting a family's, hope up to get this puppy they could have said on Tuesday I want to adopt the dog instead of making us believe we could've gotten it so we left there heart broken so if you are adopted from here just be careful.

Mindy provided a very personable, warm and extremely responsive service, made every effort to respond to my inquiry on Adopt-A-Pet and approving my application as well as just answering my questions and chatting with me about my potential cat baby's personality traits and his background story. She responded to emails as late as 11PM on a weekend and her demeanor was always welcoming and reassuring, like an old, caring friend. Mindy's words and actions convey that she truly truly love all of her rescued cat babies and she only wants what's best for them and she works extremely hard to find them good homes. I was very sad that neither cat babies from her rescue matched the particular personality I was looking for (I was trying to fill this big hole in my heart with the tragic loss of a stray cat named Cookie I cared for) and I really wished that given all the hard work she and her daughter put into, I'd adopt either Teddy or Khabib. Despite these big, affectionate sweet boys were not the best match I was searching for, I don't think any less of them, I sincerely hope they will find their forever home they deserve and I cannot be more grateful for Mindy's time, patience and understanding she's extended me and my family. I went to Petsmart to adopt a kitten names Cookies. I filled out the application, and was told by Petsmart to call them and see if I could get an immediate answer. I called them 17 times, no answer.....I was livid... I was even more upset when I get the notification via text message, that they would not allow me to adopt Cookies because I said we would "Declaw" if he started scratching or getting aggressive....I didn't even know what that meant...Again, I was pissed... We were messaging back and forth for well over 30 minutes and they explained to me what declawing was, and why it was bad for cats. Thank you, I was given useful information of something I knew nothing about. Granted, Cookies, was going to live his best life with us, but it wasn't meant to be. On to the next.
