Monday, July 27th 2026…read more My wife and I have seen Hogbody's Bar & Grill a few times driving by and said we'd have to try them one day. We'll today we did and I can't say enough great things. The only question we had afterward was, why did we wait so long? Our server, Shannon made our first visit memorable. Her service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and she made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. She was easily 10 out of 10. My wife and I split the daily special, a full slab of ribs two your choice of two sides. We had the mashed potatoes and baked beans. For $17.25 it was an incredible value. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavor, and easily earned 5 stars. The baked beans were delicious, and the mashed potatoes were creamy, homemade tasting, and just as impressive. Every part of the meal hit the mark. The only small area for improvement was the young gentleman who delivered our food. He simply slid the plate onto the table without saying a word. A little interaction, such as a friendly greeting or asking if we needed anything else, would make the experience even better. Overall, our first visit exceeded our expectations. Great food, fantastic service from Shannon, and excellent value. We'll definitely be returning to Hogbody's Bar & Grill.

We ordered two scoops of Traditional Carol and one side (soup). Judy and I shared "her lunch." The soup options were 3: tomato bay, chicken wild rice, loaded potato. We chose the creamy loaded and was not disappointed. The chicken salad was better than mine. It was also better than our prior visit to CSC-Estero a year ago. Mine are lumpier with more mayo; CSC's is finer and served with crackers was a better option. Cape Coral is picking up as a town-with- good food options. This place will succeed if they continue to deliver fast tasty healthy food. My order took less than 3 minutes to fill and bag- kudos.

I wanted to try this restaurant after watching two episodes of YouTube…read more I ordered two scoops of classic chicken salad and a side of potato soup. The chicken salad came on a large lettuce leaf and a pickle on the side. There was also a cookie which I haven't tried yet and and gave it to Dave. The chicken salad was very good and was the consistency that I like. There were several packages of crackers to place it on. The soup was very creamy and had pieces of potato and bacon in it as well as cheese on top. It tasted almost like a cheese soup and was very tasty. All in all this was a very good introduction to this business. Everything was fresh and was very good. The total was $13.51 including tax. Not bad for a change from our regular restaurants! Give them a try! By the way, I didn't go inside but Dave did. He said the inside was decorated very nicely and the staff were very friendly!

The staff is really nice. Just a great experience all around. We've started ordering the New York Strip instead of the sirloin. I think the sirloins sit on their grill for long periods of time, which is why a lot of them get overcooked. When you order the New York Strip, you know that steak is cooked fresh when you order it. Problem solved. I love their loaded baked potato. I love their Caesar salad. They've got good green beans. They've got good bread. I mean, everything's always pretty good there. The Verdict: Five star experience. This is our Texas Roadhouse now. Highly recommend.

You order and pay at the counter. They give you a table number and bring your food to you. We both got the one scoop option of the Kelli -- which has almonds and dried cranberries mixed into the chicken salad. It comes with a choice of two sides. We both upgraded to soup for one of our sides. I got their chicken with wild rice soup which came out piping hot and was good (with a little added salt). He got the tomato bisque. There was a different extra charge for each soup. For our other side, I got their pasta salad and he got the sweet grapes. We have both had these before and knew we liked them. The plate also came with wrapped crackers, a pickle wedge, and a cookie. I'm so glad the chicken salad is not overly processed with too much mayonnaise. It's nice to know there is consistency among this brand at the different restaurants. I'm glad we stopped by.
