Though it's a free ocean and an enjoyable fishery perhaps it would serve the fishery as a whole if you educate your customers regarding ediquette while fishing around other folks chasing false albacore and bonito. Please do not: 1. cut off other anglers who are slowly preparing an approach on a school of fish. 2. Please don't race over and jump on schools of fish, it only spooks them and they sound. 3. If another angler is hooked up please don't motor close to the boat hooked up where as they may cut off the hooked fish. Everyone wants to have a good time on the water but it's becoming not a good time. As a part of the community I would hope you would please pass on some sage advice to this new breed of angler. The way peeps are tied is nonfunctional and easily moved, Cable driven arrow rest cords are just tied right to the cable instead of being spliced in and served. I would imagine string changes are being done without a drawboard because none of these bows are in time and they aren't checking the work being done. The bow I saw yesterday had 10+ degrees of cam lean and a cable making contact with the cam after getting it back from F&F. Giving a customer their bow back when the cable is rubbing against the cam is straight up dangerous; If you can't identify an issue like that and communicate it to the customer you shouldn't be pressing bows. She gave me a description of every candidate. To confirm that we had the right part, she provided me with her personal cell phone number so I could text pictures of my broken piece. The next day, Sam, one of the co-owners confirmed that they had the right part. MC overnighted the part to a friendly business on Nantucket (Tidal Creek). I had the part on my boat the following day. The range officer was very helpful and enforced safety. The staff is always polite every time I go, and they have some nice gear and products for sale as well and the price for lane rentals are some of the best. I pray that all gets taken care of and that they re-open soon. I was looking forward to going back soon.
