Fresh fish (with disney fish characters watching over their fallen comrades) , good chips with chicken salt made the day all those years back. The scenery is great, you can see where your food comes from, having a deep connection ask you chow down. read more

We dropped in here after visiting the Killer Whale Museum for some lunch. The options were broad, and every member of my family left happy. The food took a while to be ready, but only because they were cooking it fresh to order, so I have no complaints here. We sat outside on the picnic benches to enjoy a veggie burger and excellent veggie dim sim, grilled flathead, fried flake, salt and pepper squid (top-notch!), fried mussels and a mountain of chips. A terrific meal at a great price ($41 for a family of four). read more

This is your typical coastal fish and chip shop that also serves as the retail outlet for the nearby Southlsnd Seafood wholesalers, the EdenSmokehouse and the local mussel farms. You will get expertly cooked fish and chips however it will come in individual snack boxes instead of being wrapped up in paper the proper way and don't try crossing them about this. Located at the wharf with several other eating establishments it is the most downmarket of the lot with limited outdoor seating. And the usual early closing time of 7 pm, don't arrive in your yacht in the middle of the night after a piece of flathead. Don't come at lunchtime either, the wait can be lengthy. Special compliments to Joanne who not only took the trouble of applying a corporate colour of nail polish, but also rewrapped our fish and chips. read more

We came here for dinner starved with a bottle of white (it's BYOW) and were met by such friendly staff, given a table outdoors with an amazing view, and tried some of the best oysters we'd ever had. We got salads and sides with half a dozen of all types of oysters: natural, kilpatrick, ponzu, chipotle and Japanese. They were all AMAZING yummy and the place really exceeded our expectations in such a casual beachy location. It was only $60 or so per person, which I also rethought was decent. The place is also slightly upmarket/trendy but still quite casual attire. Highly recommended.
