The staff here were really nice in comparison to some of the other hookah places in the valley. I must say Jason was very attentive to me and my sister. I was a regular here years ago, and slowly, this place lost my interest. Parking is never an issue, but walking down the entrance feels like you could get shot in the back of the head at any moment. Can't tell if they made any improvements on their products, but from what I can recall 2 years ago, it seems like the same stuff. After experiencing my own hookah and other establishments out there, this place could do for better. The air circulation in that place seems to work at times, but overall the place smells pretty strong of coals and you're basically left breathing in those fumes the entire time you're there. My friend Thuan and I frequent this place. We went last night after a long day at our perspective office jobs. Couches and tables are low laying , so it's easy to smoke your hookah. There's a pool table (I believe a separate charge to play), and two LCD TVs in the center of the place. The couches have seen better days (burns and what not, decent, but not plush), but I'm not here for the decor, just to chill, smoke hookah, shoot the sh*t. One of the managers already knows us because we're here so much. The overall atmosphere of this place is really, really, chill. The people are laid back and never had or seen a problem with the other patrons. They mostly play hiphop, but not the club stuff, more the underground hiphop. Thursday nights (@ 10) a live DJ spins. He was spinning some decent Mos Def, Common. Got people's heads bobbin'. Now, I've never been to another hookah place, but our hookah and two waters, ran us $28. The one bowl of hookah lasts a couple of hours. Just be careful not to inhale too much and get light headed. One of my friends passed out from inhaling too much and didn't get himself some sufficient air. A good place to hang out, chill atmosphere, listen to some hiphop. I've been coming here on an off for the past 4 years. This place has truly grown in the years they have great bowls, and friendly staff. Unfortunately there's not a lot of good hookah places in this area, so it's convenient if you live by CSUN. It's underground in a plaza and there's no ventilation, it gets really claustrophobic very quickly, and very loud. A good hookah bar must have 2 things above all else: atmosphere, and quality hookah. This one is very strange and may turn a lot of people off, but they get most of the basics right. I went there with a friend who is a regular there (almost a daily customer) and I was underwhelmed, mainly because he built the place up so much. From the outside, the place looks pretty unimpressive. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a flight of stairs going down into the actual business itself, which is basically a giant basement that looks like someone's living room. Don't get me wrong, I like the place, but not as a hookah bar. When I'm here it seems like I am smoking hookah out of a friend's garage. They have 2 tvs on opposite walls, i'd say 42" or maybe 46"s, one tv was playing "Gladiator" while the other had a group of people hunched around a PS3 playing Street Fighter IV. Again, a chill, laid-back place for sure, but hell, if I want to smoke hookah and watch Gladiator I can stay at home. As for the hookah itself: I like the flavors. They have some interesting mixtures I've never seen attempted (churro? wtf?!) but ended up tasting really good (a friend ordered that one, not me). The staff was friendly and attentive, never neglecting to bring coals. What I didn't like: they used milk to fill the base of the hookah instead of the standard water (i put ice water in mine, myself). For what reason? I do not know but ice-water gives much smoother hits in my experience. The other complaint was I didn't like the hoses. They looked like clear tubes, like an IV line, except thicker and pretty solid feeling. While they were thicker than normal hookah hoses which in theory should give you more smoke, it burned the shisha (hookah tobacco) quicker and made the hookah seem harsh pre-maturely. Regular hoses work better in function and look more authentic, I can only imagine them using their own special hoses to be different. While I might have seemed a little harsh on the place, it's not to say that I didn't enjoy myself. I just like my hookah bars filled with belly dancers and middle-eastern music, so it wasn't quite my type. But it's a fun place to take people that might feel out of place in such a hookah bar. I know some non-ethnic people trip out or feel uncomfortable when they hear arabic music or go to a place frequented almost entirely by armenians, persians, or arabs all speaking different languages, so this is more of the hookah bar for the "mainstream" crowd. read more

This place is located in the shopping center with CCC and its very hidden. I would call it a dungeon. I go to CSUN and went one day during my lunch break and did not enjoy the hookah at all. It never died and the flavor was okay, but when I finished, I felt very light headed. I am a frequent hookah smoker and this has never happened to me. From the front this placed looked closed down. The windows were painted white and there was no sign or anything saying they were open. Opening the door and my concerns only grew. Holes in the wall, grafitti on the dark walls and still no sign- only sound of faint music coming from the bottom of a stairwell. Carefully I walked down the stairs with some buddies...(If I were alone, I may have just turned around, gotten in my car and driven far away)...but, once we reached the bottom of the stairwell, we were greeted with the sweet smell of hookah smoke. We grabbed a corner sofa in the back and enjoyed a Jolly Rancher, Moijto and Whit e Peach...all delicious but a little HARSH. One so much so that they took it off our tab. We got milk in all of them, hoping it would make it more calm. My fav was the moijto. The bathroom was all kinds of tagged up, and the entire place was just so fantastically broken. A true hole in the wall, but a chill place to enjoy hookah. No DJ spinning around 9-11 on Friday night...around 10 or so they played some hip hop. With the right group I'd come back. Chill place. I like that it's kind of hidden and underground. Go in a group so that you get to sit in the booth-like sofa lol hookah is good, lots of flavors. Staff is very nice and professional. Where do I start. They have a lot to do in this lounge. Let's start with there hose for the glass hookahs those hose are not meant for those hookahs. There's a long wait on Friday I would say like 5 groups left. What hookah lounge asked to hold your id for u can be seated. Got kicked out because I had no sleeves?! Wtf! They tried to offer me a ratty old t shirt to put on, even though the shirt I had on was cute as fuck. I wear a 2x in shirts, and the shirt they offered me was like a medium, and it had holes in it. There was also like 10 other girls inside with strapless tops and of course they get special treatment. Very laid back, we frequent this place (at least once a week). Hookah is good, service is fantastic (everyone here is so cool), they're open late, play movies I believe every Tuesday unless they've changed that, remodeled it not long ago too so it looks nice, and always have a good DJ. It's underground so can get a little stuffy and that does bother some people, never bothered me though. They don't serve food (but you can bring your own - yaye) and there isn't a clubby atmosphere here, music but no dancing.. OK now for the actual review of this place: From outside this place looks likes its being leased and its an empty suite in the plaza. U open the door and u see stairs going down to a lower floor WTF?! I hear the music so I'm assuming I'm at the right place. Its dirty the "welcoming" area (where the stairs are) is ghetto. I make it down stairs and the place looks DECENT. (Inhale) 2 flat screens one on each side of the place, the non-alcoholic bar to the right and at the end where the bathrooms are they have a pool table. Honestly I can't really give this place a review on their services since I didn't use them or made use of what they sell BUT my opinion of the place is on looks and ambience rating. Torn couches with holes and stains on them. Cheap plastic chairs for those who didn't come early enough to get a seat on a couch. I DID NOT use the restroom no way! My BF and his bro +friends said the pineapple flavored smoke was good (I call it smoke) don't really care for the proper term. point is Guy who works there whom as coming around every 20min just about was real nice. Smiling and with good customer service skills which is always a plus. Wont go back cause its not my cup of tea BUT if I ever decide to smoke that stuff this would NOT be my place of choice. This is probably the worst hookah lounge i've ever been to. The staff completely ignores you and smokes their own hookah at a round table. It's like they're the customers when they should be helping the real customers. Seating is very uncomfortable and many times there is trash from previous customers that has not been cleaned. Whatever shisha they put in there burns super fast and you are forced to keep buying new bowls. Go to the Poseidon lounge it's SO much better and actually worth the money. read more

I was really wishing to give this place more than 2, but I only been there twice. It's just a place for kids that want loud music and live there teenage life under a hole downstairs. This place is like a prison, the way it's designed is just horrible even though they have damaged couches broken tables and let's just put TVS in too to give them cridets. There hookah rate is absolutely 0 stars, I can't ask for more but to never come back. Real hookah smookers need a nice vibe good services which was the only thing I liked, and also good environment to be in.
