Lots of windows with a single queuing system so erven with the queue out of the door it is still usually less than 5-mins to get served - 5-mins is 4-mins more than the ideal but it isn't the staff on the ground's fault. In addition to post office counter also has a range of posting stuff to buy and some random electricals, children's activity books and pens etc. A separate counter for these which also sells stamps is a bonus.

Usually, the staff levels are set so you will queue, often back to the door in stifling heat. Lots of windows for staff, but you'll never see more than five of the eight or more booths occupied. One time in four, you'll hear customers moaning, trying to get a group moan going after waiting fifteen minutes only to see staff just walk away from their position. I know they need breaks but it comes back to management here perpetually staffing this place inadequately. Though I will say, their core staff are a mature, confident and efficient bunch. There can be long queues at lunchtimes but they move quickly and the staff are efficient and helpful. It is positioned at the top of the pedestrianized section of Bracknell town centre. There is therefore no parking immediately outside but plenty of car parking a short walk away. It has both steps and a sloping entrance so is accessable for wheelchairs/ buggies but somewhat narrow inside.

He issues a demand in a rude manner and has a very definite lack of people skills. I will be using Goldsworth Park PO in future. So much for customer services about being polite and friendly, this gentleman has none of the above! I hate even giving this a one star review as it should be -5.

This post office is in the newsagents in the parade of shops in Harmanswater…read more It can get busy and it can be a tight fit as the queue for the post office is right by the till to pay for your papers etc. There are two tills at the post office which are both usually open and the staff are nice and friendly ( most post office staff arent) and they will help. I saw staff helping an older man who was trying to use the machine with his chip and pin card and was having trouble and the lady came out of the door and helped him to do it whilst trying to not look at his pin number! There is a good selection of envelopes and postage bags and lots of forms. You can buy car tax here. There is parking right out the front and around the back.

The office is often closed without notice. It is understaffed, and you are sometimes lucky if the staff talk to you (if they are not on their mobile phone!)
