I asked a few friends on Facebook who they would call if they had a roofing issue and several people mentioned Fuller construction. I called Tony and he was very professional and came out quickly. A realtor friend recommended Fuller within seconds of me asking for a reputable roofing company. I called Tony and requested to have an estimate done within the next few days. His nephew, Ryan, arrived the next day and assessed the damage which thankfully wasn't as bad as we thought it would be and didn't even need to open an insurance claim. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and promised to come back the next day and replace our missing shingles, weather permitting, which was fine with me. To my surprise, about 15 minutes later he was back at our house and said he wanted to make sure our shingles were replaced before it rained again and figured it wouldn't take that long to do it. I was very pleased with his work and he was so pleasant to work with. I definitely recommend T.Fuller +++++

We hired Atlas Restoration as a general contractor for repairs to interior and exterior from…read moretornado damage. We chose Atlas based on their positive reviews. The initial meeting went well, and they seemed knowledgeable and professional and talked through the whole process. Atlas did a walk through with us and informed us which rooms we needed to empty, where we should put the items, what they would tarp, and what could be left in place. They explained that they would put down floor coverings, tarp off their work areas, and put dust-eaters in those areas. They said I would need to clean out my refrigerator because it would be unplugged and wrapped. These specific items were written into the insurance estimate and the insurance company paid Atlas to do these things. Ultimately, Atlas did none of the above. There was significant damage to my home and personal items from drywall dust, paint overspray, and paint drips/footprints. Drywall dust and debris were in my HVAC (not completely unexpected from a remodel, but this was caked in), all the internal parts of my brand-new refrigerator, between the floorboards, in light fixtures, in closets, in pictures frames, and in cardboard moving boxes. They also must have had the windows open because drywall dust and debris were in the windowsills and caked to the screens. Paint overspray was on floors, walls, doors, doorknobs, and windows. Paint footprints were on my dining chairs, desk, moving boxes, door mats, and front porch. They set up stations to cut wood and metal in my garage and driveway with the garage door open and got wood and metal shavings in everything I had stored in the garage. When I complained, Atlas said they would have to file a supplemental insurance claim for the cleanup. I told them the insurance had already paid them for the prevention that they did not do. They said insurance would pay for this as part of tornado clean up. The insurance had already paid for initial tornado clean up and this was not part of it. Atlas then had a cleaning crew come out twice, but they just did basic housecleaning (sweep, mop, dust.) When I told Atlas this was unsatisfactory, they said that this was the fault of the subcontractors and they were not responsible. We were left with hours of cleaning and permanent damage. In addition, there were numerous other issues. Items that Atlas was paid for by insurance were not completed or were completed with cheaper products. For example, Atlas was paid to replace some of the blown in insulation in the attic but instead spread out existing insulation. Other acts of unprofessionalism included using our personal tools from our tool chest (tools left lying around the house), rummaging through our storage closet for paint, using our washer/dryer, using our dining chairs/desk/moving boxes in place of step ladders, and using our personal trash cans and brooms for drywall and paint cleanup and ruining them. This left partial paint footprints on all items and broke a box of wine glasses (box labeled "fragile - glasses".) When I complained about these things, they said that they are not responsible for their subcontractors. When I said that as the general contractor, they were, they told me, "It was probably like that before and you just didn't notice." Of course, the job also took much longer than promised. This would have been understandable if we were waiting for materials but that was not the case. Despite initially promising that they focus on one job at a time, it was clear that they were juggling jobs. They only worked at my house 2-3 days per week. There were multiple times that I was asked to meet them or be there to accept a delivery and they no showed. There were also times when I would get very last-minute notices, all impacting my work schedule (taking unnecessary time off or needing last minute time off.) There were even more issues than mentioned here. They ultimately completed the big-ticket items (roof, siding, electric, cabinets, drywall), but their lack of oversight and professionalism that caused significant damage and stress was not worth it. I would not recommend them.

Gravity Drain Services was called by my apartment complex to clear a drain. I had woken up to…read moresewage from my front door to my back door on the first floor. Goodbye dog bed and plushie dog toys. Goodbye paycheck for the day as anyone who has ever had to deal with this sort of thing knows. You have to toss the awful smelly heavy wet items, mop up the biohazard, then disinfect everything. I felt sick for days afterwards. Back to my story - The river of sewage was very surprising as I had only washed my face and flushed the toilet once after I went upstairs for the night the night before. The plumber who came told me that the 3 townhouses next to mine are all connected to me and so if they have a problem (flush wipes, etc) it is going to back up in my townhouse. Definitely not the news I wanted to hear. He brings back all 105 feet of snake and finds hair and "strings" (indicative of feminine products). I like the term "drowned rat" myself. I receive an email from my apartment complex that I now owe $335 for the plumbing. Mind you, I use a drain catcher for my long curly hair and I learned early on from my father to always respect the toilet. I call Gravity Drain Services and kindly ask if they could reach out to my apartment complex to inform them what the plumber told me, that the issue could have come from the 3 townhouses connected to me. They decline. Wow. Is it too much to ask for the truth to be told? That's all I was asking. The little guy gets knocked down again. UPDATE - the rental company was told the truth and the charge was removed. Thank you for doing the right thing.

They use high pressure sales, bait and switch on materials, poor workmanship, nasty bully attitude, then resorts to harassment texting. He even called other companies scammers for offering a long warranty on materials and labor. This company did not complete the fence because I fired them, and hired another company to complete it. Dustin lowered the initial price and I asked to change from pressure treated pine to cedar. He charged more for the upgrade and sent me the proposal. The worker came with a helper who ended up quitting after 2 hours, so the worker was only person working on 80 foot long fence line. When some of the new post were set, only 1 bag of cement was used and some posts were not set in line. Not all the post were set before the fence was constructed, poorly. Top of the fence boards started 4 inches above the top board, 20 feet farther away they were 10 inches above the top board and the middle board was missing. The materials used was cedar tone pressure treated pine not cedar as quoted in text and proposal. I spoke with Dustin on the phone and he argued I was not watching his worker enough and I was causing problems. The next day the worker showed up with a helper and took all the boards off the fence to add the middle rail that was omitted, then Dustin texted he instructed his worker to go buy prefab panels from home depot instead of building to my specs. After texting back and forth Dustin called and cussed me out, so I fired them, wrote a check for partial work and hired another contractor to complete the fence correctly. 2 days later I saw his secretary drive by and Dustin texted minutes later to see if I had written a Google review for his deception. Which I had not. I texted I was missing some boards and the gate hardware and he insinuated that because i live in the city someone stole them. He even stated he knew for a fact his guy leveled all the posts and left all the materials when he himself never set for on my property to check the workmanship. I texted him to quit harassing me. He has now redesigned his web page to change wording and pictures and the length of his warranty.
