It is also an excellent place to prepare your child for Kindergarten so they won't go in overwhelmed and scared. At home we can provide structure and learning tools but it just isn't the same as a true school environment. My son gets excited to see his teachers & his friends. He looks forward to gardening, dance parties and art projects. His overall growth has also jumped leaps and bounds from when he first started last year. So much so we extended his hours from half to full day! We also LOVE that the classes are small & the teachers build a close relationship w/ every child. Touring other schools was quite scary seeing kids screaming and overwhelmed staff. I can assure you Peppermint Tree is not and never will be that way! You also have a built in Summer Camp w/ 2 pools to accommodate all age groups. Did I mention swimming lessons, class trips, gardening, ice cream days, etc? All those things are either part of class or an option to add on. So if you are on the fence about where or if you are going to enroll your child, Peppermint Tree is definitely the Best Choice!

My child was enrolled in Peppermint Tree's summer camp. He was there for 5 hours and he was out…read more(playground & pool) from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. Then they'd go inside from noon until 3 pm. This was their time to eat and sleep! Their naptime was 2 hours. So, if you want your 4.5 year old toddler to go to summer camp and nap for 2 hours this is your place. There were no other activities as promised on the schedule we were emailed to before camp began. The schedule showed that they were going to do arts, science and so many fun things. When I asked if he was doing any of these things I was told by his teachers that most of these were happening during his pool time. Really? Isn't the establishment's responsibility to ensure that all groups get to do these "fun things?" Why should a 4.5 yr old eat and sleep from 12 pm - 3 pm. There is plenty of time for his "teachers" to read books, engage them in fun/educational activities while they're inside. So really, all that money we paid for was only for 2 hours (run around in the playground and use the pool). Our child didn't learn anything, there were no educational activities as the written schedule showed, and we basically paid for 5 hours, 3 out of which were eat and sleep! I don't recommend this place whether it is for summer camp or as a daycare. Unless you want to use it as a babysitting place, sure, then it's fine. Just don't expect your child to learn here...

During their years there with Miss Mary, Miss Marianne, Miss Christina, and all the other wonderful teachers, our daughters were nurtured, loved, and taught to be curious and embrace the world around them. The directors and teachers at Tiny World understand the value of social skills and play as well as the importance of kindergarten readiness. As educators, my husband and I see the value of this approach and know that it is vital to success and security in all academic and grade levels. It is not surprising to find that many of the children at Tiny World have parents in education. We have always appreciated the flexible hours, unique programs, and comfortable facilities offered at Tiny World. There is nothing better than picking a little one up at the end of a long day who has had a chance to be outside, sing songs, and learn all at the same time. We are now in the second year of sending our youngest son. He is thriving and happy there just as our daughters were. It is a true blessing to be able to go and teach other children knowing that mine are in such loving and capable hands. I really can't say enough about this school. They do everything right in all the ways that it truly matters.

I know exactly who is gonna be there when I pick him up and she knows every detail of his day. You walk in the daycare and everyone is smiling and saying hello, when we walk out they are all saying goodbye to him even thou they aren't his teachers. They still know his name! I'm in love with this daycare and everyone who works here. I can't thank them enough for taking such great care of him !
