My friend and I sat outside with ice cold drinks and I enjoyed a vegan chocolate and banana loaf which wasn't extraordinary but worth noting because it's a fairly unusual treat. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food smelled and looked delicious so next time I have a wander down there I plan to pop in again and try a hot meal! Watch this space!

Whilst the decor may need a touch up here and there, I found the places charm and lack of pretension lovely. My significant other has Curried split pea soup, and I had Bacon, Brie and Cranberry Ciabatta. Both were tasty and a perfect light lunch, with organic presse things to drink. We paid and took two hot chocolates with us for the walk down to the car! There is wifi for those of you with fancy phones, just ask at the bar for the key. This is a perfect alternative to the generic Costa in the high street, and well worth walking up the hill for. I'll be sure to be back here in the summer!

Locally sourced ham hock in the finest hash I have every had and equally satisfied noises from the gestating one and the sprog. Lots of enclosed outdoor space for running around in and a farm shop packed with quality local goodies as well so you can buy after you've tried in the cafe. John and his son Noel prepared a wonderful afternoon tea for 12 excited ladies to help celebrate my grandmother's 97th birthday. The food was scrumptious as well as beautifully presented. John and Noel made this special occasion even better by delivering a great spread for our celebration. I am still dreaming of the cheese scones and plan to visit again in Feb 2017 when I return.
