Welcome to Homestead Acres! Our puppies are lovingly raised right at home, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well socialized. Each puppy visits the vet for a full health check and deworming, and they come with a special puppy starter kit to help them settle into their new home. We also work closely with trusted partners to help families find the perfect puppy. For more information, please give us a call at 302-344-1642. We’d be happy to send pictures or set up a video call so you can meet the puppies virtually. You’re also welcome to schedule an in-person visit to come see them yourself. Established in 2000.

We are the breeder behind Homestead Acres located in Middletown, DE. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. ​ We’re not a kennel — our dogs are part of our home and family. Each puppy is raised in a safe, nurturing environment where they are socialized with larger dogs and family members from day one. They are given their own space, lots of love, and the attention they need to grow into well-adjusted companions.​​

Meet the Business Owner: Jon R.

All of our puppies have either been to the vet or will go to the vet for a full health evaluation. All puppies will get their age appropriate shots and wormer. All puppies come with a full 1 year health guarantee. All puppies come with a puppy packet that includes their vet certification, age appropriate shots and wormer, blanket, toys, bag of puppy food, health guarantee, and Kennel Club Registration (if applicable). You will receive lifetime support from us and also be invited to our private Facebook page where you can interact with other puppy owners past and present.
