Two months ago (November 2017) we had vinyl flooring installed in several rooms in our home. The men were doing a good job at first but then they started getting constant calls telling them to hurry up...they had another job waiting. The workmanship went downhill and the rest of the job was not at all satisfactory. One of the floors was a quarter inch lower than the other floor and was left that way. A serious trip hazard. I have photos. After trying to deal with the owner about fixing the problem we were forced to settle for a half way "fix." A board laid across the drop off that slanted down to the lower flooring. In January (two months later) the flooring started to come loose. We contacted them twice and they finally got the men out here to repair it. The same spot turned loose again two days later. We called and requested a repairman. The weather was beautiful all the following week but we did not hear back from them. We had a dusting of snow last night.....the roads are clear. I called again today and the owner said, "We can't send anybody out there. It's snowing." I reminded him that the past week had been beautiful weather and they had not shown up then nor had they bothered to call us to set an appt to fix the flooring. He continued to argue that they don't just send their men out minute to minute. He became VERY argumentative and agitated. I ended up hanging up on him mid-rant. Hopefully we will ....eventually...get a decent fix for the problems we are having...but I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service is non-existent, the owner has a volatile temper and, judging from the experience during the installation, the owner cares more about "quantity" (another job waiting) than job "quality." Buyer beware.

We bought a very expensive bed for my teenage son, and in less than a year it broke into two pieces…read more-- he literally fell through it. This furniture is junk. Do not buy! Vaughn Bassett does not stand behind their products. When I called customer service, they said they only work with the stores and couldn't do anything for us. The store's solution was to send us a piece of wood so we could try to fix the broken lip ourselves. It's outrageous to pay this kind of money for a bed that doesn't even hold together, and then have to patch it with scrap wood. This company doesn't deserve your hard-earned money. Buy from a different brand and save yourself the headache!

Terrible customer service and generalized failure to take responsibility for substandard parts. Customer must go to third party website to purchase parts to replace the ones that have broken. Parts in question are Kenlin Rite-Trak II and CS rep told us to get a completely different part number at Swisco.com. Need to replace the front and rear plastic parts on all 17 drawers in the furniture pieces. Not happy at all!
